Lucas Gass f343c5c8a8 Bug 37027: Remove unnecessary dataTable controls from SCO tables
To test:
1. Have a patron with some checkouts, holds, and charges that can login into the SCO module.
2. Notice the dataTable controls for searching the table, copying the table, exporting as CSV, or printing.
3. APPLY PATCH
4. Try step 2 again, this time the only dataTable control should be the search filter.

Phil Ringnalda 8e6dada3aa Bug 37167: Fix mapping call number searches to Z39.50
When you do an advanced search for call number, your search uses the index
callnum, but the code that maps your search to a possible Z39.50 search
still uses the index lcn,phr which was last used 15 years ago, so it's
treated as an unknown index and mapped to the Title field in the Z39.50
search form.

Test plan:
1. Click Search in the top menu to load Advanced Search
2. Change the dropdown menu for the first input from Keyword to Call
Number, and paste TT174.3 in the input and search
3. Find the Z39.50/SRU search button in your results and click it
4. Note that your search was filled in the Title field
5. Apply patch, reset_all
6. Repeat steps 1-3, note that your search was filled in the Dewey field
7. Choose the server Library of Congress SRU and search
8. Note that even though we labelled it Dewey and you searched for an
LC call number, your results are things with that call number in 050,
   the LC call number field.

Owen Leonard ea0c9977d1 Bug 37158: Make OPAC recalls history table responsive
Some markup errors in the OPAC recalls history template are causing the
table to not be responsive even though the DataTable is configured to be
responsive. This patch corrects it.

Also changed:

- Removed obsolete <span class="tdlabel">, a remnant of the
way we did responsive tables before the DataTable option
- Removed very obsolete "type" attribute from the <script> tag and very
obsolete "<![CDATA" marker from the script block.
- Removed <span>s which were used in the obsolete "title-string" method
  of sorting a DataTable.

To test you must have recalls enabled and have at least one circulation
rule which allows for recalls.

- Log in to the OPAC as a user who can place recalls.
- Locate an item which is elligible for recall and place the recall.
- Go to your user summary page, and click the "Recalls history" link in
  the sidebar.
- Confirm that the table of recalls on that page behaves
correctly. It should adjust well to varying browser widths.

Nick Clemens 5aced1b971 Bug 37057: Restore filtering of unused authorities
Bug 12478 commented this code out, however, we do return the 'used' parameter in ES authority searches. While
we should implement the feature for both ES and Zebra as an index, we can restore this behaviour here.

To test:
1 - Search authorities on OPAC with SearchEngine syspref set to both Elasticsearch and Zebra
    I just searched for 'a'
2 - Confirm results with no usage are included
3 - Test with both values of OPACShowUnusedAuthorities
4 - Apply patch
5 - Repeat searches with both engines and syspref settings
6 - Confirm unused authorities not shown in either engine when syspref is "Don't show"
7 - Conifrm unused authorities shown in both engines when syspref is "Show"

Owen Leonard f25837ab4a Bug 36950: Improve placement of catalog concern banner in the OPAC
This patch changes the placement of the catalog concern banner in the
OPAC. Changing the way it is added to the DOM will prevent it from
obscuring content.

To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.

- In the staff interface, make sure the "OpacCatalogConcerns" system
  preference is enabled.
- Locate a bibliographic record and view the detail page.
- Click the "Report a concern" link in the sidebar.
- Submit your concern.
- When the concern is successfully submitted and the modal closes, the
success banner ("Your concern was successfully submitted.") should
appear below the breadcrumbs menu and above the biblio view tabs
  ("Normal view, "MARC view", etc.).

Tomas Cohen Arazi db477060b5 Bug 36901: Add logging for uncaught exceptions in background job classes
This patch adds logging of unhandled exceptions that could occur. This
is happening on busy production sites right now. This is also useful for
plugin jobs that might not be 100% following the guidelines and would
benefit from this.

But as the [DO NOT PUSH] patch highlights, this is something we really
want to have on our current codebase, as a database connection drop
might make us reach that `catch` block we are adding logging to on this
patch.

To test:
1. Apply the [DO NOT PUSH] patch
2. Run:
   $ ktd --shell
  k$ restart_all ; tail -f /var/log/koha/kohadev/worker*.log
3. Pick a valid barcode on the staff UI
4. Use the 'Batch delete items' tool in the cataloguing section
5. Start the job for deleting the item
=> FAIL: The item got deleted, but the job marked as failed and no logs
about the reasons
6. Apply this patch and repeat 2-5
=> SUCCESS: Same scenario but there's a log with the error message

Alexandre Noel bb0249a4de Bug 35823: When uploading a MARC file to a basket it is showing inactive funds without the show checkbox button selected
Prerequisites:
    - Have at least 2 budgets with funds
        1. Add several budgets ("Acquisitions" > "Budget") with funds ("Actions" > "Add fund")
        2. Keep one budget active (check the "Make Budget active" box in
           the budget edit page)
    - Have at least one file of records imported into Koha ("Cataloging" >
"Stage records for import" > "Upload a file")

To test:
    1. Go to Acquisitions page.
    2. Create a vendor and new basket if not already available.
    3. In your vendor, "Add to the basket" > "From a staged MARC file".
    4. Click "Add orders" of one of the MARC file.
    5. Check the checkbox in the "Select for import" tab.
    6. In the dropdown menu of the "Fund" field, verify the budget
       names.
--> Ensure Koha displays all inactive budgets even if the "Show
inactive funds" checkbox is not checked.
    7. Apply patch, and refresh the page (crtl + F5)
    8. Verify the budgets in the "Fund" dropdown menu and test it with
the "Show inactive funds" checked and uncheked"

Pedro Amorim 5edb46c890 Bug 34920: Ensure 'description' property is an empty string if 'lib' is null
Test plan:
1. Enable ERM module
2. Confirm that you can open the ERM module in the staff interface.
3. Go to the authorized values, select 'ERM_AGREEMENT_CLOSURE_REASON' and edit the 'Cancelled' authorized value by removing the description. Making this change with any of the ERM authorized values will result in an error.
4. Go back to the ERM module and notice that there is an error. 'Something went wrong: Error: Expected string - got null.'
5. Apply patch. Run yarn js:build. Repeat test plan
6. Create a new agreement. Pick status 'Closed'.
7. Open 'Closure reason'. Confirm there is an entry for 'Expired' and an empty entry below that.

David Cook c52cb10f39 Bug 32575: Add an empty text body to fix multipart/mixed handling
By adding an empty text body, we force Email::Stuffer/Email::MIME
to use multipart/mixed handling for the attachment instead of forcing
a single part (ie direct attachment) email, which is not consistently
handled by different email clients.

An empty text body is language-neutral (ie not imposing English),
and it allows SMTP servers to inject organisational footers into
the email (e.g. confidentiality notices).

Janusz Kaczmarek 4e739fe2da Bug 37038: koha-elasticsearch creates a file named 0
After execution of koha-elasticsearch command a file named 0 remains in
the current directory.

Inside the single parentheses, the character '>' is treated as a file
redirection, not as a comparison operator.

Test plan:
==========
1. Have a test installation with Elasticsearch. As root, perform:
   ./debian/scripts/koha-elasticsearch --rebuild kohadev
When the command finishes, check the contents of the current
directory (ls -ltr | tail). You sould notice a fresh file named '0'
2. Apply the patch. Delete the file named 0.
3. Repeat p. 1. There should be no file named 0 now.

Janusz Kaczmarek 5039a499cd Bug 36976: Warning 'Argument "" isn't numeric in numeric' in log when merging bibliographic records
When merging bibliographic records, Koha generates warning:

[WARN] Argument "" isn't numeric in numeric ge (>=) at /kohadevbox/koha/Koha/Util/MARC.pm line 81.

in [plack-]intranet-error.log.

This is because $tagslib->{$fieldtag}->{'tab'} -- for a tag, not for a
subfield --is (always?) an empty string (cf.
C4::Biblio::GetMarcStructure : $res->{$tag}->{tab} = ""), and in
Koha::Util::MARC::createMergeHash it is compared numerically with 0.

Test plan:
==========
1. From biblio search result page, selact two records with the checkboxes
and start a merge (Edit -> Merge records). Proceed with merging.
After the merge, controll the content of the plack-intranet-error.log
(when using plack -- standard in ktd). Note the lines:
[WARN] Argument "" isn't numeric in numeric ge (>=) at /kohadevbox/koha/Koha/Util/MARC.pm line 81.
2. Apply the patch; restart_all.
3. Repeat p. 1. There should be no fresh warnings.

This updates the Koha administration page to use "desks" for consistency. It
also updates the UseCirculationDesks system preference description.

Test plan:
1. Enable the UseCirculationDesks system preference.
2. Go to Koha administration > Patrons and circulation
3. Select the Circulation desks option.
4. Note that the sidebar menu, breadcrumbs, and page titles all
   use just "Desks".
5. Note that in the top-right hand menu bar that it says "NO DESK SET". If
you click the dropdown menu it says "Set library and desk".
6. Apply the patch.
7. Go to Koha administartion > Patrons and circulation.
8. Note that the heading now says just "Desks".
9. Note that the description for the UseCirculationDesks system
preference is now "Don't use/Use circulation desks".

Kyle M Hall b9f35e185c Bug 37075: Message queue processor will fail to send any message unless letter_code is passed
For reasons unknown, GetOptions is inserting an empty string into the letter_code list. If you are running the script with a letter code filter, the empty string is added to the OR so it functions. If no letter_code is passed, the search requires the letter code to be an empty string, which will of course fail. Even more perplexing is that this does not happen for the type list which is essentially identical code.

Test Plan:
1) Generate some messages in the message queue
2) Run `process_message_queue.pl -v -c`
3) Note nothing happens
4) Apply this patch
5) Repeat step 2
6) Messages are sent!

Nick Clemens 79a91f617e Bug 27769: Update default key mapping to copy text
When implemented, the keyboard shortcuts could not use the system clipboard so
Citrl-C was mapped to use the editor clipboard. As this now works with the system clipboard
we should allow standard functionality and remap the Koha shortcut.

This will not affect existing installations, however, they can modify the keyboard shortcut if they
wish by visting:
Administration->Keyboard shortcuts
 or
Clicking the 'Redefine shortcuts' link under 'Keyboard shortcuts' in the advanced editor.

To test:
1 - Apply this patch
2 - Reset all
3 - Confirm Ctrl-Alt-C is the command to 'Copy current field' in Keyboard shortcuts in the advanced editor

Katariina Pohto 79c435afc6 Bug 35771: Unselecting titles when making multi-hold
When placing a hold on multiple biblios Place Holds page (request.pl) has checkboxes for unselecting some of the listed biblios.
Removing the checkmark does not actually unselect the biblio. Clicking the Place holds button will place a hold for all the biblios on page that can be reserved.
If unchecked biblio does not have a pickup location, it will get past form validation and cause an error.

Test plan:
1. Select several biblios and choose Place hold
2. Choose a patron
3. Select a pickup location for all biblios and unselect one of the checkmarks
4. Place holds and note that even the deselected holds was placed.
5. Repeat steps 1-2.
6. Leave pickup locations empty and try to place the holds.
7. Note alert: "Please make sure all selected titles have a pickup location set"
8. Uncheck one of the biblios and add pickup locations to the checked biblios.
9. Try to place the holds and note that there is no alert, and you get an error 500.
10. Apply patch.
11. Repeat steps 1,2,8 and place holds.
12. Note that there is no error 500, and while all the biblios are shown on page, only the checked biblios have a new hold placed on them.

This patch corrects instances of the double-underscore function being
used in .tt files where the single-underscore function should
be used instead.

To test, apply the patch and update a translation, e.g. fr-FR:

  > gulp po:update --lang fr-FR

- Open the corresponding .po file for the affected strings, in this
  case misc/translator/po/fr-FR-staff-prog.po
- Confirm that the strings are now in the .po file for translation. You
  should find these lines:

  - koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/members/alert-subscriptions.tt:
"Are you sure you want to unsubscribe %s from email alerts for %s?"
  - koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/members/memberentrygen.tt

Owen Leonard 5522a622fc Bug 35239: (follow-up) Correct more missing label inconsistencies
This patch corrects a couple more labels and modifies the process of
cloning a patron attribute field so that each new cloned row has
matching label and input.

To test, apply the patch and, if necessary, create some patron attribute
types:

- Go to Administration -> Patron attribute types
- Create at least two new patron attribute types.
- Go to Tools -> Batch patron modification.
- Submit a batch of patrons for batch modification
- In the list of fields to modify, test that clicking each label gives
focus to the corresponding field (except date fields, we need to fix
  that globally).
- Click "New" next to the patron attribute field.
  - A copy of the field should be created. Test that the new field also
    has matching label and <select>

wainuiwitikapark 49f452d051 Bug 31143: Fix/identify all cases where '0000-00-00' may still remain in the database
This patch identifies date fields in the database (timestamp, datetime, date) that are 0000-00-00 and sets them to NULL

Test plan -

Examples of setting up some 0000-00-00 date fields:

e.g. Borrowers table
update borrowers set dateexpiry="0000-00-00" where borrowernumber=49;

e.g. Items table
update items set datelastseen="0000-00-00" where itemnumber=12;

To identify the cases:
1) Set up some 0000-00-00 date fields
2) Run the misc/maintenance/search_for_data_inconsistencies.pl script
3) Run fix_invalid_dates.pl -v

To fix the cases:
1) Run fix_invalid_dates.pl -c -v
2) Notice the value has changed from 0000-00-00 to NULL

e.g. Borrowers table
select dateexpiry from borrowers where borrowernumber=49;

e.g. Items table

Nick Clemens df7aec26f5 Bug 37892: Fix guarantor restriction, add tests
[SQUASHED IN QA]

These patches will alter the checks for a patron that prevent a category with
'can_be_guarantee' from being a guarantor. Two patrons in the same category should be
allowed to have a guarantee/guarantor relationship

The tests below assume you are using the KTD sample data. Update borrowernumbers if not.

To test:
 0 - Apply tests patch
1 - Set the 'Patron' category as 'Can be a guarantee'
2 - Add a relationship between two patrons of the same category
This is restricted from the staff interface
     perl -e 'use Koha::Patrons; my $p = Koha::Patrons->find(5)->add_guarantor({ guarantor_id => 23, relationship => 'father'});'
3 - Note there is no warning or exception. This should be allowed.
4 - Checkout an item to Edna (borrowernumber 5)
5 - Set 'TrackLastPatronActivityTriggers' to 'Checking in an item'
6 - Try to check the item in, KABOOM
7 - Set 'TrackLastPatronActivityTriggers' to 'Checking out an item'
8 - Try to issue an item to Enda, KABOOM
 9 - prove -v t/db_dependent/Koha/Patron.t, fail
10 - Apply second patch
11 - prove -v t/db_dependent/Koha/Patron.t, one more test passes, but then fail
12 - Apply third patch
13 - prove -v t/db_dependent/Koha/Patron.t, pass!
14 - restart_all
15 - Checkout to Enda, OK!
16 - Checkin from Edna, OK!
17 - Find two more patrons in the category and attempt to link them
18 - 'Guarantor cannot be a guarantee'
19 - Apply fourth patch
20 - You can add a guarantor from the same category in interface
21 - Try to add a guarantor to the guarantor assigned in 20
22 - Confirm you cannot add a guarantor - "Guarantor cannot be a guarantee"

Johanna Räisä 4f04c6b49e Bug 37528: check if selected relationship is valid
This patch checks if the selected relationship is valid before trying to save the patron record.
It takes the list of valid relationships from borrowerRelationships syspref and checks if the selected relationship is in the list.

Also this patch fixes relationship field required message when BorrowerMandatoryField is not set.
The required message is shown when adding the guarantee from guarantor's detail page.

Test plan:
1) Add at least one option to borrowerRelationships syspref.
2) Leave the relationship unchecked from BorrowerMandatoryField syspref.
3) Create a new guarantee patron.
4) Add a guarantor to the guarantee patron.
5) Leave the relationship field empty and try to save the patron record.
6) Notice the 500 error page.
7) Apply the patch.
8) Repeat steps 3-5.
9) Notice the error message "Guarantor relationship is invalid".
