Bug 21597 enabled the option so set strict SQL modes in koha-conf.xml to
be able to improve Koha's comformance to current standards on DB
engines.
This causes lots of parts of Koha to fail because they rely on MySQL
fallbacks that are no longer default behaviours.
While we can workaround this by setting SQL modes on runtime, the
decision has been that this needs fixing.
This patch deals with the /patrons API failing to correctly convert
datetimes into valid SQL timestamps.
To test:
- Run:
$ kshell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/patrons.t
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass
- Add <strict_sql_modes>1</strict_sql_modes> on your koha-conf.xml
$ sudo vim /etc/koha/sites/kohadev/koha-conf.xml
- Restart memcached and Plack:
$ restart_all
- Run:
k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/patrons.t
=> FAIL: Tests fail due to updated_on and/or lastseen fields wrong
format (MySQL error)
- Apply this patch
- Run:
k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/patrons.t
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass! It all makes sense!

Testing will require an OverDrive account, you should be able to obtain a
developer account here:
https://developer.overdrive.com/
You will need to register a SIP connection for patron authentication
To test authentication:
1 - Set authname default in OD prefs
2 - Sign in as a patron whose branch matches authname
3 - Verify the patron can sign into OverDrive
4 - Set the patrons branch authname to be incorrect
5 - Verify branch specific authname is used and patron cannot sign in
6 - Set the default authname to be incorrect and patron's branch
authname to be correct
7 - Verofy patron can sign in
To test circulation:
1 - Fill out all OD prefs and enable circulation
2 - Sign in to opac
3 - Verify you have an OverDrive tab
4 - Click 'Login to Overdrive'
5 - If password required you shoudl be prompted, otherwise you should be
signed in and see account info
6 - Test logging out and in
7 - Log-in, perform a search on the opac - you should see hold/checkout
buttons
8 - Test the buttons
9 - After holding/checking out items, check your account page
10 - Verify info is correct
11 - Log out of overdrive
12 - Search catalog click overdrive results
13 - Test "Login to Overdrive" link on OD results
14 - Verify page is reloaded, buttons show and work

This patch removes the erroneously added workflow that requires staff
users to agree to the copyright clearance declaration defined in the
ILLModuleCopyrightClearance preference. Only OPAC users should be
required to accept the declaration.
To test:

https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/ILL_backends
2) Ensure you have the "ILLModule" preference enabled
3) Add some text to the "ILLModuleCopyrightClearance" preference
4) As an OPAC user make an ILL request:
a) Navigate to a search results page in the catalog
b) Click the "Make an Interlibrary Loan request" link at the bottom
c) Choose "Create a new request", then select a backend
d) Observe the text you added earlier is displayed with buttons for
agreeing or disagreeing
5) As a staff user, select the "ILL requests" button on the front page of
the intranet site
a) Choose "Create a new request", then select a backend
b) Observe that you are NOT prompted to agree to the text you added
earlier

When clicking Create EDIFACT Order on /acqui/basket.pl, an EDIFACT message will not be generated if aqbasket.branch does not match edifact_ean.branchcode. This failure does not generate any sort of error message, it just fails to produce a message.
We should allow ean's to not require a branch to be set, then if we don't find a branch specific each, we can look for the default version of the ean.
Test Plan:

This will ensure the plugin takes effect right away, it should be

This patch adds the following content type definitions, to be used by
endpoint authors implementing MARC-related endpoints:
--------------------------------------
| Content-type | Alias |
|--------------------------|---------|
| application/marcxml+xml | marcxml |
| application/marc-in-json | mij |
| application/marc | marc |
--------------------------------------
Code using this aliases will use them like this:
- Suppose you want to output data in MARCXML format:
my $record = cool_method_that_returns_MARC_RECORD();
return $c->render( status => 200, format => 'marcxml', text => $record->as_xml_record );
Note: 'text' by defaults encodes output as UTF-8. If the encoding is not
UTF-8 you should encode the data on your own.

This patch adds plugins the capability of injecting new routes on the
API.
The plugins should provide the following methods to be considered valid API-generating plugins:
- 'api_routes': returning the 'path' component of the OpenAPI specification corresponding to the routes served by the plugin
- 'api_namespace': it should return a namespace to be used for grouping the endpoints provided by the plugin
otherwise, they will be just skipped.
All plugin-generated routes will be added the 'contrib' namespace, and
will end up placed inside /contrib/<namespace>, where <namespace> is what the 'api_namespace' returns.
A sample endpoint will be added to the Kitchen Sink plugin, and tests
are being written.

indexes, this makes 'starts with' work as expcted
We switch to 'AND' for fields searched from cataloging editor - this
matches Zebra results
We force the '__sort' fields for sorting - if sorting looks wrong try
reducing the heading field to a single subfield - this will need to be
addressed on a future bug (multiple subfields create an array, ES sorts
those randomly)

This patch splits the balance to match this object schema:
{
balance => #,
outstanding_credits => {
total => #,
lines => [ credit_line_1, ..., credit_line_n ]
},
outstanding_debits => {
total => #,
lines => [ debit_line_1, ..., debit_line_m ]
}
}
This change is made to ease usage from the UI. Also because the
outstanding credits need to be applied to outstanding debits in order to
the balance value to make sense. So we still need to have each total.
Tests are added for this change, and the schema files are adjusted as
well.

This patch was discussed with Jonathan on a QA conversation. It is
better to keep this simpler and more reusable. And is the right approach
in this case.
This patch makes Koha::Account::outstanding_credits return the account
lines, code that used the $total value, will just use
$lines->total_outstanding;
Tests are adjusted accordingly.
To test:
- Run:
$ kshell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Account.t
=> SUCCESS: Test pass.

This patch makes 'credit' account types generate 'Manual Credit' offset.
The original patch used 'Payment' but I think the code wants to
distinguish between payments and manually added credits (otherwise they
would've picked the same accounttype value, and they don't.

This patch makes Koha::Account::add_credit record statistics logs
(through C4::Stats::UpdateStats) only for the 'payment' and 'writeoff'
credit types.
Both credit types are whitelisted in UpdateStats, so we keep the current
behaviour. Another option would've been to add new account types to the
white list, but with the account offsets it seems that using the
statistics table for account changes won't be useful for too long, as
offsets contain the same (and more) information.

This patch makes the controller code use $lines->total_outstanding
instead of expecting ->outstanding_debits and ->outstanding_credits
return the total.
Tests should pass as before. No behaviour change is expected.
To test:
- Run:
$ kshell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/patrons_accounts.t
=> SUCCESS: Tests still pass, no behaviour change.

This patch splits the balance to match this object schema:
{
balance => #,
outstanding_credits => {
total => #,
lines => [ credit_line_1, ..., credit_line_n ]
},
outstanding_debits => {
total => #,
lines => [ debit_line_1, ..., debit_line_m ]
}
}
This change is made to ease usage from the UI. Also because the
outstanding credits need to be applied to outstanding debits in order to
the balance value to make sense. So we still need to have each total.
Tests are added for this change, and the schema files are adjusted as
well.

Again a regression caused by
commit fa54100dff
Bug 18403: Use patron-title.inc when hidepatronname is used [SPECIFIC for issuehistory]
GetBiblioIssues does a union all with issues and old_issues, so we
should old_issues as well.
To make the join on the items table we need to define the item and
patron methods. For consistency the relationships have been redefined
(item instead of itemnumber, borrower instead of borrowernumber) in the
DBIx::Class definition.
This is not perfect but I think the best way to provide an easy to
backport patch.
It highlights that we need improvements in this area.

We shouldn't have it overloaded on the base class, as it could get huge
and difficult to find things, and read.
This patch moves things to Koha::Exceptions::Object. We should overload

This patch makes 'full_message' use the passed exception message instead
of trying to build it from the parameters. This is particularly useful
for some situations in which we don't have all the information but would
like to keep using the same exception.

Test plan (shamelessly ripped from Bug20953):
1) Set system preference 'useDischarge' to 'Allow'
2) Choose a patron without checkouts nor fines nor restrictions
3) Log at OPAC and go to patron page /cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl
4) Click on 'ask for a discharge' tab
=> You see /cgi-bin/koha/opac-discharge.pl
with text 'What is a discharge? ...'
5) Click on 'Ask for a discharge' link
=> You see /cgi-bin/koha/opac-discharge.pl?op=request
with text 'Your discharge request has been sent ...'
6) In a new browser tab/page, go to intranet on /cgi-bin/koha/members/discharges.pl
=> You see one discharge requets for the patron
=> Click on 'allow' on patron discharge request
7) Come back to OPAC and refresh /cgi-bin/koha/opac-discharge.pl
=> You see link 'Get your discharge'
8) Click on the link to get your generated PDF
=> An error message should appear informing you to contact your website's admin
9) Apply this patch
10) Click again on the link to get your generated PDF
=> This time, a download prompt should appear
