Bug 29744: Harmonize psgi/plack detection methods
This patch updates and moves the existing psgi_env method out of Auth
and into Context and then replaces any manual references of the same
code to use the new method.

Bug 31401: Update administration sidebar to match entries on administration start page
This makes sure that all entries on the administration start page
have a matching entry in the administration sidebar that shows
on the left side if you are on any of the administration sub pages.

Changes made:
* Rename 'Classification sources' to 'Classification configuration'
* Make Plugins entry show and appear in correct spot
This relied on the variable plugins_enabled that wasn't available
in all the different templates. I therefore moved it to Auth.pm
and cleaned up the code for the admin start page.
* Move 'MARC overlay rules' and rename to 'Record overlay rules'

To test:
* Make sure plugins are enabled and visible on admin start page
* Compare admin start page and sidebar
  * Sequence should be the same
  * All entries should appear on both pages
  * Naming should be the same

 1 - enable EnableExpiredPasswordReset
2 - Edit a patron to set password to expire in the past
3 - Attempt opac login as patron
4 - It fails, but you are redirected to login screen with no info
 5 - Apply patch
 6 - Attempt login
7 - You are notified password expired and given reset link
8 - Go back to login screen
9 - Login with correct username,, wrong password
10 - You are notified of incorrect credentials, not password expiration

Bug 31247: Fix OPAC authentication when 2FA is enabled
Silly mistake from bug 28786, the $type should be compared to "opac"

Tomas Cohen Arazi 6fba85d23b Bug 29924: Avoid leaking information on wrong credentials
If the passed credentials are wrong, we shouldn't expose things like the
password is expired.

This patch takes care of that.

To test:
1. Have a known patron with password_expiration_date set so its
password is expired. Can be done like:
   $ koha-mysql kohadev
   > UPDATE borrowers \
     SET password_expiration_date='2022-04-25' \
     WHERE borrowernumber=132;
   Note: change the borrowernumber
2. Attempt to login to the OPAC with wrong credentials
=> SUCCESS: You are rejected, with a message telling credentials are
            wrong
=> FAIL: You are told the password is expired.
3. Apply this patch and restart Plack
4. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: You are rejected, credentials are wrong and no mention to
            password being expired.

Nick Clemens a732138d9d Bug 29924: Add password expiration feature
This patch adds the ability to define password_expiry_days for a patron
category.

When defined a patron's password will expire after X days and they will
be required to reset their password. If OPAC resets are enabled for the
catgeory they may do so on their own, otherwise they will need to
contact the library

To test:
 1 - Apply patch, updatedatabase
2 - Set 'Password expiration' for a patron category
     Home-> Administration-> Patron categories-> Edit
3 - Create a new patron in this category with a userid/password set,
     and an email
4 - Confirm their password_expiration_date field is set
     SELECT password_expiration_date FROM borrowers WHERE borrowernumber=51;
5 - Create a new patron, do not set a password
6 - Confirm their password_expiration_date field is NULL
7 - Update the patron with an expiration to be expired
     UPDATE borrowers SET password_expiration_date='2022-01-01' WHERE borrowernumber=51;
8 - Give the borrower catalogue permission
9 - Attempt to log in to Straff interface
10 - Confirm you are signed out and notified that password must be
     reset
11 - Attempt to sign in to OPAC
12 - Confirm you are signed out and notified password must be reset
13 - Enable password reset for the patron's category and perform a
     password reset
Note: you will have to find the link in the message_queue unless
you have emails setup on your test environment
     SELECT * FROM message_queue WHERE borrowernumber=51;
14 - Confirm that you can now sign in and password_expiration_date field
is set 10 days in the future
15 - Expire the patron's password again
16 - Change the patron's password via the staff interface
17 - Confirm they can sign in and the expiration is updated

Jonathan Druart 6eeb9bc1b3 Bug 28786: Two-factor authentication for staff client - TOTP
This patchset introduces the Two-factor authentication (2FA) idea in
Koha.

It is far for complete, and only implement one way of doing it, but at
least it's a first step.
The idea here is to offer the librarian user the ability to
enable/disable 2FA when logging in to Koha.

It will use time-based, one-time passwords (TOTP) as the second factor,
an application to handle that will be required.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-based_One-Time_Password

More developements are possible on top of this:
* Send a notice (sms or email) with the code
* Force 2FA for librarians
* Implementation for OPAC
* WebAuthn, FIDO2, etc. - https://fidoalliance.org/category/intro-fido/

Test plan:
 0.
  a. % apt install -y libauth-googleauth-perl && updatedatabase && restart_all
  b. To test this you will need an app to generate the TOTP token, you can
use FreeOTP that is open source and easy to use.
 1. Turn on TwoFactorAuthentication
 2. Go to your account, click 'More' > 'Manage Two-Factor authentication'
 3. Click Enable, scan the QR code with the app, insert the pin code and
 register
 4. Your account now requires 2FA to login!
 5. Notice that you can browse until you logout
 6. Logout
 7. Enter the credential and the pincode provided by the app
 8. Logout
 9. Enter the credential, no pincode
10. Confirm that you are stuck on the second auth form (ie. you cannot
access other Koha pages)
11. Click logout => First login form
12. Enter the credential and the pincode provided by the app

Owen Leonard 59ff962caa Bug 26019: Koha should set SameSite attribute on cookies
This patch modifies the way Koha sets cookies so that the "sameSite"
attribute is explicitly set to "Lax." This option is chosen because it
is the value which is currently assumed by browsers when the sameSite
attribute is not set.

To test, apply the patch and restart services.

- Log in to the staff interface and open your browser's developer tools.
  - In Firefox, look for a "Storage" tab.
  - In Chrome, look for an "Application" tab.
- Under "Cookies," click the URL of the staff interface.
- You should see all the cookies which are set for that domain.
- The CGISESSID cookie should have sameSite set to "Lax."

- Go to Cataloging -> New record.
  - Check the "marcdocs" and "marctags" cookies.
- Switch to the Advanced MARC editor (you may need to enable
  theEnableAdvancedCatalogingEditor preference).
  - Check the "catalogue_editor" cookie.
- Add a new item to an existing bibliographic record.
  - Check the "LastCreatedItem" cookie which is set after you save the
    new item.
- Go to Authorities -> Authority search.
  - In authority search results, click "Merge" from the "Actions" menu
next to one of the results..
    - Check the "auth_to_merge" cookie.
- Go to Administration -> MARC bibliographic framework
  - Choose "MARC structure" from the menu corresponding to one of the
    frameworks.
  - Check the "Display only used tags/subfields" checkbox.
    - Check the "marctagstructure_selectdisplay" cookie.
- Go to Circulation -> Check out to a patron with checkouts.
  - Check the "Always show checkouts immediately" checkbox.
    - Check the "issues-table-load-immediately-circulation" cookie.
- Go to Tools -> Patron clubs. You will need at least one active club
with one or more patrons enrolled.
  - From the list of clubs, click Actions -> Search to hold.
    - Check the "holdforclub" cookie.
- Go to Tools -> Batch item modification and submit a batch of items.
  - Uncheck one or more checkboxes in the "Show/hide columns" area.
    - Check the "showColumns" cookie.
- View a patron -> Search to hold.
  - Check the 'holdfor' cookie.
- With WebBasedSelfCheck enabled, log in to the self-checkout page.
  - Check the "JWT" cookie.

Marcel de Rooy 62f8702206 Bug 29957: Let check_api_auth return created cookie
The cookie created on L1496 is useless, since it is not returned.
We could either remove the cookie creation (unchanged behavior).
But since check_api_auth is expected to return a cookie when it is ok,
I opt for returning the cookie here (corrected behavior).

Test plan:
Logout in staff.
Check on staff: /cgi-bin/koha/svc/localization?id=1

Login with staff credentials (incl. manage_itemtypes)
Revisit same URL.
You should see a JSON response.

Jonathan Druart 95097d1cc2 Bug 29914: Make check_cookie_auth compare the userid
check_cookie_auth is assuming that the user is authenticated if a cookie exists
and that the login/username exists in the DB.

So basically if you hit the login page, fill the login input with a
valid username, click "login"
=> A cookie will be generated, and the sessions table will contain a
line with this session id.
On the second hit, if the username is in the DB, it will be enough to be

David Cook 2e5d59d902 Bug 28735: Self-checkout users can access opac-user.pl for sco user when not using AutoSelfCheckID
This patch makes the sandboxing of the selfcheckout more robust by
adding a "sco_user" session variable which is turned on when
logging into the self-checkout (either by AutoSelfCheckAllowed or manually).

If a user with this session variable turned on tries to access
other parts of the system (like the rest of the OPAC), it will
"kick out", so that the browser user will lose the authenticated session.

Test plan:
1) Apply the patch
2) koha-plack --restart kohadev
3) Go to http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl
4) Note that you are logged into the self-checkout
So you see the login screen specific to the self-checkout.
To log with the actual patron. It's a nested auth.
5) Go to http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/opac-main.pl
6) Note that you are not logged into the OPAC
7) Log into the staff interface and disable the
system preference AutoSelfCheckAllowed
8) Log out of the staff interface (this step is very important)
9) Go to http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl
10) Note that you are prompted to log into Koha
11) Login using the "koha" user (when using koha-testing-docker)
12) Note that you are logged into the self-checkout
13) Go to http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/opac-main.pl
14) Note that you are not logged into the OPAC
Without the patch you would still be logged as "koha"
15) Go back to http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl
16) Note that you will need to log in again as you've lost your
session cookie
Without the patch you will still be logged in the self-checkout

Owen 8473254ec3 Bug 24224: Convert OpacNavBottom system preference to additional content
This patch builds on Bug 22318 to move the OpacNavBottom system
preference into the "Additional contents" system, making it possible to
have language- and library-specific content.

To test you should have some content in the OpacNavBottom system
preference. To make testing easier it's also a good idea to have content
in the OpacNav preference.

- Apply the patch and run the database update process.
- In the staff client, go to Tools -> HTML customizations and verify
that the content from OpacNavBottom is now stored there. When you
edit the entry you should see content from the OpacNavBottom system
  preference under the "default" tab.
  - The publication date for the entry should be today's date.
  - Confirm that the previous contents of OpacNavBottom were added
    correctly.
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC and verify that
the OpacNavBottom preference has been removed.
- Update and reinstall active translations (for instance fr-FR):
  - cd misc/translator/
  - perl translate update fr-FR
  - perl translate install fr-FR
- View the OPAC and confirm that the contents of the OpacNavBottom
system preference displays in the left-hand sidebar.
- Test as many pages as possible to confirm that wherever the
OpacNavBottom content is displayed, OpacNavBottom is also displayed.
- Test also using the updated translation.

Bug 24223: (follow-up) Make logged-in user's branchcode available to template

This patch makes a couple of corrections for problems I discovered
while working on Bug 24224: The variables required for correct display
of news items by branch and language were not consistently available to
the templates.

In opac-readingrecord.pl, the "lang" variable was being overwritten. On
this and other pages the logged-in patron's brachcode was not made
available. I've corrected instances of KohaNews.get() to use the
globally-available "logged_in_user.branchcode" instead.

To test, apply the patch and follow the original test plan, with the
addition of instances of the OpacNav additional contents item which
have a specific library selected.

Confirm that such items are correctly displayed according to the
logged-in user's home library. If there is no logged-in user the
library-specific OpacNav should not display.

It also returns a third parameters contained the old and new IP, to fill

No change is expected with this patch, the different authentication

Jonathan Druart 9d6d641d1f Bug 17600: Standardize our EXPORT_OK
On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.

That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.

This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests

And a lot of other manual changes.

export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.

"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;

The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules

Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).

EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.

@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.

@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.

@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""

If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
  - use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

Martin Renvoize 1a81264ac1 Bug 18506: Add xShibOnly preference for Shibboleth authentication
This patch adds two system preferences to Koha, opacShibOnly and
staffShibOnly, allowing users to restrict authentication to just
one method, Shibboleth.

We do however, allow for local fallback for the SCO/SCI logins.

A system preference was chosen over a configuration file update to
allow for local override at the virtualhost level. In this way a
hosting provider can setup a 'backdoor opac' for example to allow
fallback to local logins for support operations.

Fridolin Somers 180db2f63b Bug 14004: Add ability to temporarily disable JS/CSS sysprefs
It would be *super* handy if intranetuserjs and/or opacuserjs could be
temporarily disabled via a check-box or syspref.
Right now, debugging issues in intranetuserjs usuaally starts with
copying the contents into a text file, blanking the syspref and re-testing.

This patch adds this feature by setting syspref via ENV
OVERRIDE_SYSPREF like override via Apache config.

Implemented only for preferences :
OPACUserCSS OPACUserJS IntranetUserCSS IntranetUserJS
=> replaced with ' '
intranetcolorstylesheet intranetstylesheet
=> replaced with 0

Test plan :
1) Set some CSS in IntranetUserCSS like : #breadcrumbs{color:red}
2) Go to staff interface home page like : /cgi-bin/koha/mainpage.pl
3) See CSS impact is visible
4) Edit URL : /cgi-bin/koha/mainpage.pl?DISABLE_SYSPREF_IntranetUserCSS=1
5) See CSS impact is not visible

Martin Renvoize 5b1934312b Bug 24786: Allow setting a register for the session
This patch adds the ability to set a register for the current session
from the 'set library' page.

Upon entering the page, the current selection will be displayed.
Changing the branch will trigger the register select list to update to
display only those registers associated with the updated branch and will
automatically select either 'no register' or the 'branch default'
register. The user can then override that selection to choose a
different register for the session.

Test plan
1/ Enable cash registers with the 'UseCashRegisters' system preference
2/ Select the 'Set library' option from the top right menu
3/ Note that you can now select a cash register from the subsequent page
4/ Change the branch and note that the cash register selection is
updated to reflect the change
5/ Note that the 'branch default' register is auto-selected upon branch
selection if one has been defined, otherwise '-- None --' is selected
6/ You can then alter the selection before submitting the form
7/ Once submitted note that you are returned to the page you were on
prior to attempting to change the library and register
8/ Note the present of the register name next to the library name at the
top of the screen.

Jonathan Druart 4b9475346e Bug 24663: Test OpacPublic for all OPAC scripts
Prior to this patchset there were 3 different calls to
get_template_and_user (or checkauth) with the authnotrequired param:
 * authnotrequired => 0
 * authnotrequired => 1
 * authnotrequired => ( C4::Context->preference("OpacPublic") ? 1 : 0 )

The first one says that an unauthenticated user can access the page, the
second that the user has to be authenticated, and the last one that it
depends on the OpacPublic syspref.
Actually we must replace the first one with the third one, if the OPAC
is not public, the authentication must be forced.

To do so we are going to remove the "authnotrequired => 0" occurrences,

- Click back, you are taken to /cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl
- No matter how many times you reload /cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl,
you should not see anything other than the login form.
- Check that Self Check Out still works as it should, by making
sure you have a user with self_check permissions, then setting
  WebBasedSelfCheck, AutoSelfCheckAllowed, AutoSelfCheckID and
  AutoSelfCheckPass appropriately. Then visit
/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl and verify everything works as
  expected.

The messages and errors pages you see related to resubmitting the
form might differ from the ones described here, depending on what
browser you use. I tested in Chromium 76.0.x.

Bug 23068: Add ability for Koha to handle X-Forwarded-For headers so REMOTE_ADDR features work behind a proxy
Koha has a number of features that rely on knowing the IP address of the connecting client. If that server is behind a proxy these features do not work.
This patch adds a module to automatically convert the X-Forwarded-For header into the REMOTE_ADDR environment variable for both CGI and Plack processes.

TEST PLAN:
1) Apply this patch set
2) Install Plack::Middleware::RealIP via cpanm or your favorite utility
3) Update your plack.psgi with the changes you find in this patch set ( this process differs based on your testing environment )
4) Restart plack
5) Tail the plack error log for your instance
6) Use curl to access the OPAC, adding an X-Forwarded-For header: curl --header "X-Forwarded-For: 32.32.32.32" http://127.0.0.1:8080
7) Note the logs output this address if you are unproxied
8) If you are proxied, restart plack using a command like below, where the ip you see in the logs ("REAL IP) is what you put in the koha conf:
    <koha_trusted_proxies>172.22.0.1 1.1.1.1</koha_trusted_proxies>
9) Restart all the things!
10) Repeat step 6
11) You should now see "REAL IP: 32.32.32.32" in the plack logs as the remote address in your plack-error.log logs!
12) Disable plack so you are running in cgi mode, repeat step 6 again
13) You should see "REAL IP: 32.32.32.32" as the remove address in your opac-error.log logs!

Bug 23771: Don't look for patrons if we don't have a userid
While the code requires external auth to test, the change is simple enough I
think a good read would suffice

To test:
1 - You either need Shib or CAS enabled and setup
2 - Add two users with blank.null cardnumbers
3 - Lock those user accounts
    Set failedloginattempts to 1
Try a bad login with the userid
    Or set via the DB
4 - Try a good login via the external auth
5 - Note it fails
6 - Apply patch
7 - Login now succeeds

Bug 22929: Allow SCI/SCO logins independent of GDPR_Policy
This patch makes Auth skip the GDPR policy check when get_template_and_user
is called for sci/sco (self checkin, checkout).
I do not really like the change in this form but the nature of self checkin
and checkout kind of dictate it (double hack).
I wanted to add a test but since that asks for mocking CGI, checkauth, etc.
the time needed for that is just too much for this simple change.

Test plan:
Enable GDPR_Policy and self checkin/checkout.
Verify that using patrons without consent is not blocking sci/sco.

Bug 23253: Fix OpacNavRight for self reg by email
The code expects to display OpacNavRight content at the bottom of the
login form when a user just registered.

Test plan:
- Turn PatronSelfRegistrationVerifyByEmail on
- Register a patron
- Confirm by clicking on the link you received by email (or see the
message_queue table)
=> The OpacNavRight content should be displayed

QA Note: This code smells, the code in the pl should not be needed.

Bug 23078: (follow-up) Update self checkout help page
This patch takes care of some preference instances I missed in the self
checkout module's help page. It also removes some obsolete lines from
Auth.pm.

To test, apply the patch and re-test based on the previous test plan.
Also test in the self-checkout module by logging into self checkout and
clicking the "Help" link in the upper right of the screen.

The settings of the following preferences should be shown correctly:

 - OpacFavicon
 - OPACUserCSS

Bug 23078: Use Koha.Preference in OPAC global header include
This patch updates the OPAC's doc-head-close.inc so that it uses
'Koha.Preference' syntax to output system preference data. The patch
removes handling of two preferences from Auth.pm which which are covered
by this template change.

This patch also makes some minor changes to consolidate multiple
template checks for "bidi"

To test, apply the patch and test the affected OPAC system preferences:

 - OpacFavicon
 - opaclayoutstylesheet
 - OPACUserCSS
 - OPACBaseURL

Confirm that changes made to these preferences are reflected in the
OPAC.
