Test plan:
1. Create an authority with at least a 1XX$a and a 4XX$a, for instance:
100 $a Foo
400 $a Bar
2. Create a biblio and add a link to this authority using the
cataloguing plugin
3. Disable syspref IncludeSeeFromInSearches
4. Reindex the biblio. You should be able to find it when searching
'Foo' but not when searching 'Bar'
5. Enable syspref IncludeSeeFromInSearches
6. Reindex the biblio. You should be able to find it when searching
'Foo' and also when searching 'Bar'
without the patch, 'Bar' doesn't yeld results. With it, it does.

Bug 22440 will rewrite the route and make it even more efficient by
prefetching the related data instead of performing several queries in
loops.
In the meantime, we can make this controller perform better with a
simple intervention: load backends once, and use the
$request->_backend() setter to pre-set it before using the objects.
To test:

This patch refactors the Koha::ApiKey class so:
- It encrypts the generated secret
- Allows accessing the plain text secret only immediately after the key
creation (this implies that it won't be accessible if the key is
fetched from the DB).
- It implements an allow list for attributes, that are not read only.
Changing any other of them will make ->store throw an exception.
- A method for validating plain text secrets against the encrypted one

We always had some mapping because of the DB vs. API object definition discrepancies. But bug 25260 revamps the reserves table, and it is a perfect match. It highlights this edge case: if no mapping defined, then and undef from_api_mapping is generated (as opposed to an empty hashref) and this leads to errors in the query translation from the API.
This patch makes a small change so this method always returns an empty
hashref.

In advanced search with Elasticsearch the limit on years range is actually using copydate :
Koha/SearchEngine/Elasticsearch/QueryBuilder.pm in _fix_limit_special_cases() :
if ( $l =~ /^yr,st-numeric,ge=/ ) {
my ( $start, $end ) =
( $l =~ /^yr,st-numeric,ge=(.*) and yr,st-numeric,le=(.*)$/ );
next unless defined($start) && defined($end);
push @new_lim, "copydate:[$start TO $end]";
}
With Zebra it uses date-of-publication and also in Koha/SearchEngine/Elasticsearch/QueryBuilder.pm :
our %index_field_convert = (
(...)
'yr' => 'date-of-publication',
This patch uses %index_field_convert to perform 'yr' limit.
Test plan:
1) Apply patch
2) Use Elasticsearch searchengine
3) Go to advanced search with 'More options'
4) Perform a search with a year limit (value or range)
5) Check results are correct

This patch fixes a double-encoding issue with MiJ output.
Mojolicious' *text* renderer encodes the passed information according to
the request context. [1]
MARC::Record::MiJ->to_mij, conveniently encodes the string before
output [2].
This causes double encoding.
So the solution to this situation, is to use the *data* renderer, which
doesn't perform any encoding [3].
To test:
1. Apply the regression tests patch
2. Run:
$ kshell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/biblios.t
=> FAIL: Tests contain diacritics and fail!
3. Have a record with diacritics
4. Try the API routes for fetching a biblio:
$ curl --location --request GET 'http://localhost:8080/api/v1/public/biblios/144' \
--header 'Accept: application/marc-in-json'
(replace the record id with the one you've chosen)
=> FAIL: Boo, double encoding
5. Bonus point: you can try it on the non-public route, but you need
more configuration boilerplate (basic auth, permissions). If you look
at the fix, you will understand the tests cover it and no need to
complicate yourself.
6. Apply this patch
7. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass!
8. Repeat 4 (and maybe 5)
=> SUCCESS: No double encoding! Yay!

memcached address and namespace are in $KOHA_CONF, so it is required to
read it before being able to access the cache. And after that,
configuration is kept in memory forever. Storing this in memcached is
useless and even counter-productive, since Koha reads both the file and
the cache
This patch addresses this issue by removing the cache-related code from
C4::Context->new.
It means that C4::Context->new will always read the configuration file,
so this patch also replaces inappropriate calls to
C4::Context->new->config by appropriate calls to C4::Context->config
It also fixes a bug where C4::Context->new would ignore the filepath
given in parameters if there was something in cache.
It also removes a problematic call to Koha::Caches->get_instance.
Because this call was outside of any subroutine, it would have happened
before the initialization of $C4::Context::context (which happen in
C4::Context::import)
Test plan:
1. Do not apply the patch yet
2. Add the following line at the beginning of Koha::Config::read_from_file
warn "read_from_file($file)";
This will allow you to check how many times the file is read.
3. Flush memcached and restart starman
4. Check the logs, you should see "read_from_file" a bunch of times
5. Apply the patch
6. Re-add the line from step 2
7. Flush memcached and restart starman
8. Check the logs, you should see "read_from_file" only once
9. Make sure the memcached config from $KOHA_CONF (memcached_servers,
memcached_namespace) is taken into account by checking the About page

Carriage returns in notes were causing a supplier's parser
to truncate Order messages received from Koha.
Have removed those and also made a global removal of CR, Line feeds
and tabs - the latter two having the possibility of causing
errors in the future

The previous patch introduces some behavioural changes to the API, as
well as the data types that need to be passed; all happens in the tests.
This patch adapts the route so it complies with those changes:
- JSON object containing pickup_library_id attribute is now passed back
and forth.
- The controller should take care of checking the pickup location is
valid, using the available tools.
To test:
1. Apply the patches, up to the tests
2. Run:
$ kshell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/holds.t
=> ERROR: Tests fail because the controller doesn't implement the
desired behavior
3. Apply this patch
4. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass!

Chrome throws a ERR_RESPONSE_HEADERS_MULTIPLE_CONTENT_DISPOSITION
error if a Content-Disposition header includes an unquoted filename
that contains commas.
This patch adds quotes around the filename in the Content-Disposition
header, which fixes the problem.
Test plan:
0. Do not apply the patch yet
1. Obtain a PDF and rename it to include a comma in its name
2. Enable the upload.pl plugin in the 856$u of the Default framework
3. Add/edit a record in the Default Framework and upload a file
using the 856$u upload plugin.
4. Click on the resulting file URL in the saved file
5. Note the error ERR_RESPONSE_HEADERS_MULTIPLE_CONTENT_DISPOSITION
is returned instead of the file
6. Apply the patch and restart your Plack instance
7. Click on the resulting file URL in the saved file
8. Note that you now get the PDF file instead of the error

The `RenewAccruingItemWhenPaid` preference should only renew upon
payment (and writeoff) and not upon automatic forgival triggered by
`WhenLostForgiveFine`.
Test plan
1/ Enable `WhenLostForgiveFine` and `RenewAccruingItemWhenPaid`
2/ Checkout an item and backdate it's due date
3/ Run longeroverdue.pl to mark the item as lost and create the fine
4/ Confirm that the item is not renewed as part of the process

There are a few cases where the `renew_item` method in
Koha::Account::Line will return `undef`. For these cases, we should not
pass the error up the chain to the controllers as it leads to malformed
error messages in the UI.
Test plan
1 - Make sure FinesMode is on, RenewAccruingItemWhenPaid is off
2 - Checkout an item to a patron and make it overdue (can backdate the
checkout)
3 - Make sure the itemtype has fines that will be charged
4 - Charge the fines:
Set finesMode = production
perl misc/cronjobs/fines.pl -v
5 - Check the fine appears on the patrons account
6 - Pay off the fine
7 - Receive alert after payment that reads: "The fines on
the following items were paid off, renewal results are
displayed below:
No title ( ): Not renewed - Unknown error"
8 - Apply the patch
9 - Repeat steps 1 through 6 and note that you no longer trigger the
error message.

'error' has special meaning in exceptions so naming the fields:
type, details
Rather than only dealing with a single exception type, we generically
get the ES exception info and pass it up.
I could not recreate timeout still, however, I simply restarted the
ES docker during commit stage to cause NoNodes exceptions

This catches a timeout response from the ES server, logs this, and continues the indexing
To test:
1 - perl misc/search_tools/rebuild_elasticsearch.pl
2 - Make the ES server timeout (I don't have good instruction yet)
3 - Watch the job crash
4 - Apply patches
5 - perl misc/search_tools/rebuild_elasticsearch.pl
6 - Make the server timeout
7 - Note the job reports failed commit, and continues

This patch adds "1;" to the end of the following perl files:
Koha/Filter/MARC/EmbedItemsAvailability.pm
Koha/Filter/MARC/EmbedSeeFromHeadings.pm
Koha/Filter/MARC/Null.pm
Koha/Item/Search/Field.pm
Koha/SearchEngine.pm
misc/translator/VerboseWarnings.pm
t/lib/Koha/Plugin/Test.pm

it.
