Bug 14250: (follow-up) Refacto discharge messages display

The script that determines if one should display messages to the user,
informing him whether they are allowed or not to ask for a discharge is
quite hard to understand.

For sake of readability, transforming the unless to an if since the
error behaviour was in the unless and the success in the else.
Changing to success behaviour in the if and failure in the else.

Bug 26744: Log changes to extended patron attributes
Log non-repeatable attributes and only log changes and creations, not deletions.
When changed, attributes are first all deleted, then the relevant ones are recreated.
This patch catches all deletions, and checks against them in the creation phase, logging
only the attributes that have changed (with before/after content). This makes it impossible
to log actual deletions.

To test:

1) Ensure tests in t/db_dependent/Koha/Patron/Attribute.t passes

Bug 28633: Add preferred name field to patrons
This patch adds a new field 'preferred_name' to the patron record.

On storage (creation or update) the preferred_name is set to the firstname if no
value is passed. Patron modifications will set the preferred name to the firstname if
the preferred_name field is hidden

With this patchset preferred_name will always be set - either to the firstname, or a specified value.

PatronAutoComplete/ysearch is updated to use 'preferred_name'

To test:
 1 - Apply patches
 2 - Update database and restart all, clear browser cache
 3 - Load a patron in staff module
 4 - Confirm you see and can add a preferred name
 5 - Confirm the preferred name and first name now displays on patron details
 6 - Remove first name from patron record and confirm it no longer shows
 7 - Edit sysprefs BorrowerMandatoryFields and BorrowerUnwantedFields to confirm you can make
     new field required or hidden
 8 - Sign in as patron to opac
 9 - Confirm preferred name shows
10 - Edit account on opac and confirm field is present
11 - Verify DefaultPatronSearchFields contains 'preferredname' if your pref had firstname
12 - Perform checkout and patron search using preferred_name, confirm patron is found
13 - Enable PatronAutoComplete system preference
14 - Type patron's surname into Checkout or patron search but don't hit enter
15 - Confirm patron is displayed with 'preferred_name' in the preview
16 - Set 'preferred_name' in all 'Unwanted' preferences
17 - Confirm editing a patron in staff interface sets both fields when firstname updated
18 - Confirm a patron modification sets both fields when firstname updated
19 - Create a patron / perform self registration and confirm both fields set when preferred_name is hidden
20 - Remove preferred_name from Unwanted prefs and confirm preferred_name is set to firstname if nothing passed

Bug 33462: Add ability to force password change for new patrons entered by staff
This patch attempts to force a password change for new staff created patrons.
This is done by setting the password_expiration_date to an expired date when
adding a new patron. This patch adds a new system preference
'ForcePasswordResetWhenSetByStaff' and a new column to the categories table
'force_password_reset_when_set_by_staff.

To test:
1) Apply patch, restart_all, updatedatabase, and also be sure to update schema.
2) Visit Administration->Sytem Preferences and search for 'EnableExpiredPasswordReset'.
   Make sure this is set to enable. Now search for 'ForcePasswordResetWhenSetByStaff'.
   This should be defaulted to 'Don't force'.
3) Keep that tab open and visit Administration->Patron categories. Click on edit
   on the Board category. Noitce that there is a now a 'Force new patron password reset'
   section. Notice that the by default, this is set to follow the
   ForcePasswordResetWhenSetByStaff system preference (currently set to don't force).
   Click on the dropdown and change it to 'Force'. Save changes
4) Click on the Patrons tab to visit members-home.pl and then click 'New Patron'.
   Select on Patron. Fill in the required information and also enter a password.
5) Submit this form and notice that the patron's password expiration date is set
   to never. This should be the case because the default for 'Force new patron
   password reset' follows the sys. pref. which is still set to 'Don't force' (You
   could have some expiry date in this step, but it should at least be set to a
   date that is not expired. this depends on whether or not you have a defalut
   password expiration date set in patron categories )
6) Log into the OPAC with this patron and notice it works as expected and log in
   was successful.
7) Go back to the patron home page and click to add a new patron. This time select
   'Board'. Once again fill out the required info, enter a password, and then save
   the form.
8) Notice that for this patron, the password expiration date is set for today's
   date. This is because we changed the setting for the 'Board' patron category to
   force.
9) Log into the OPAC with this patron. You should be redirected to a page with an
   error that says: "It's your first login! You need to reset your password." Click
   on the reset password link below this message.
10) You should be sent to a page where you can reset your password. Fill in the
    form and click 'Update password'. Attempt to sign into the OPAC with this new
    password. Everything works as expected.
11) Go back to the staff interface and view this patron's detail page. Notice the
    password expiration date is now set to what the default is in the patron
    category.
12) Edit this patrons information and set their password expiration date to
    yesterday. Go back to the OPAC and try to sign in with this patron again. Note
    that this time, you are also redirected but the message says "Error: Your
    password has expired!"
13) Go back to the staff interface and visit the sys. pref tab we left open. Set
    it to the 'Force' option and save changes.
14) Visit the patron home page and click add patron, now select the patron
    category again. Fill in required info and enter password. Submit form and note
    that the patron's password expiration date is set to today. Try to login to
    the OPAC with this patron, you should be redirected to the page with the error
    that says "Error: It's your first login! You need to reset your password."
15) Sign-off :)

Bug 25996: Make AddDebarment() use Koha::Patron::Restriction
This patch makes the AddDebarment() method use the Koha::Object-based
class to ease the next steps. The current codebase makes the feature
fragile otherwise, as adding a new row and then querying for the latest
row of that kind seems risky,

With this approach the result is the same, but we have the
Koha::Patron::Restriction object for using it later in logging.

I opted to return 1 as it does now. The whole module deserves to be
removed in the future but it is out of the scope of this report.

To test:
1. Run:
   $ ktd --shell
  k$ prove t/db_dependent/Patron/Borrower_Debarments.t
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass
2. Apply this tiny refactoring patch

Bug 16223: Add ability to define liftable restrictions
Some libraries debar Patrons at the end of the year for having unpaid fines,
like in Bug 15157. Currently librarians have to manually remove this type of
debarments after Patron has paid his/her fines.

This patch adds ability to create restrictions which are lifted after
patron pays ceratain amount of fines.

To test:
1. Apply this patch.
2. Restart your services if needed.
3. Navigate to page restrictions.pl.
=> Note that table has two new colums in it, "Lift after payment?" and "Fee limit".
4. Add new restriction which has "Lift after payment?" set
as Yes and fee limit as 5.
5. Create fees for a patron so they exceed fee limit e.g. 10
6. Add restriction made in step 2. for the patron
7. Pay patrons fees partially so that they go under fee limit
=> Note that patrons restriction should now be lifted.

Bug 17499: (follow-up) Contact information vs. mtt validation
This patch adds a subroutine that handles message transport type validation by
first checking related patron contact information.

As an example, if there is no email address, we shouldn't let email be selected
as a messaging transport type.

The reason to isolate logic into a separate subroutine is that C4/Reserves.pm
_koha_notify_reserve() also uses the same logic and we should not duplicate it.
C4::Reserves::_koha_notify_reserve() will be adjusted to use this new sub in

Bug 17499: Add Koha-objects for messaging preferences
This patch adds Koha-objects for messaging preferences.

Adds simple validation for messaging preferences.

The validation includes
- throw exception if both borrowernumber or categorycode is given for a new pref
- throw exception if patron for the given borrowernumber is not found
- throw exception if category for the given categorycode is not found
- throw exception if days in advance cannot be configured but is given
- throw exception if days in advance configuration is invalid (value between 0-30)
- throw exception if digest is not available but attempted to set on
- throw exception if digest must be enabled but attempted to set off
- throw exception on duplicate messaging preference

Adds a method for getting available messaging options.

Adds a method for setting default messaging preferenes.
  $patron->set_default_messaging_preferences (where $patron is a Koha::Patron)
  ...or...
  Koha::Patron::Message::Preference->new_from_default({
    borrowernumber => 123,
    categorycode => "ABC",
    message_attribute_id => 1,
  });

Since messaging preference is a feature that has multiple related database tables,
usage via Koha-objects is sometimes frustrating. This patch adds easy access to
message transport types via
  $preference->message_transport_types                              (for getting)
  $preference->set({ message_transport_types => ['email', 'sms'] }) (for setting)
  (also supports other calling conventions, see documentation for more)

Adds optional parameter message_name for Koha::Patron::Message::Preferences->find
and ->search. Simplifies the Koha-object usage by allowing developer to skip joins
and / or querying the message name via attribute_id from message_attributes table.

Includes test coverage for basic usage.

To test:
1. prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Patron/Message/*

Following Bug 17499, check also Bug 18595 that replaces C4::Members::Messaging
with these new Koha-objects.

Bug 34435: Remove side effect from get_password_expiry_date
If get_password_expiry_date is passed a DateTime object
as a parameter, it modifies and returns the original
object. This can create possible side effects.

This patch modifies get_password_expiry_date to clone the
DateTime object that it receives as a parameter and
return the modified clone, so that object references can
be passed in safely.

Bug 34117: Remove side effect from get_expiry_date
If get_expiry_date is passed a DateTime object as a parameter,
it modifies and returns the original object. When memberentry.pl
prefills the input fields for duplicating a patron, it passes the
enrollment date object to get_expiry_date. This causes the enrollment
date object to be modified with the expiry date value.

This patch modifies get_expiry_date to clone the DateTime object that it
receives as a parameter and return the clone, so that references to an
enrollment date object can be passed in safely.

To test:
1. Have or make a patron
2. Duplicate that patron
3. Before saving the new patron, scroll down to Registration Date and
   see that it's defaulting to a date in the future.
4. Apply patch and restart_all
5. Try duplicating a patron again
6. Registration Date should correctly set to today

Bug 21699: Allow circulation messages to be editable
During a Webinar discussion regarding the new placement of the circulation messages appearing in the Patron Detail page. It was commented by a librarian that it would be nice to have the circulation messages editable. At times libraries need to keep a specific message on a patrons account with the details such as what branch it was written from and the staff member that wrote it, but it would be nice to be able to edit this message.

Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Restart all the things!
3) Browser to a patron record
4) Create a new patron message
5) Note the patron message now has an "edit" button
6) Edit the existing message using the edit button and form
7) Check the action logs for that message, note there is a modification
   logged to that message if BorrowersLog is enabled

Bug 12029: Ability for patrons to dismiss OPAC messages
This enhancement adds the ability for patrons to dismiss an OPAC
message, marking it as read to remove it from their summary page.

To test:
1) Update database and restart services
2) Log into the staff interface and go to your patron account
3) Click the Add message button
4) Add a message for the OPAC and Save
5) Log into the OPAC. Note there is a message on the homepage saying you
have a message. Go to your user summary and confirm the message
displays.
6) Click the button to dismiss the message. A confirmation box should
pop up - hitting Cancel should stop the action.
7) Dismiss the message again and this time Confirm. Make sure the
message is gone from the OPAC user summary and from the homepage.
8) Confirm tests pass t/db_dependent/Koha/Patron/Messages.t
9) Create a few more messages for the OPAC
10) Log into the OPAC and dismiss one of the messages
11) Confirm the count of unread messages on the OPAC home page is
correct

Bug 14251: Allow use of CSS in discharge letter
The discharge feature relies PDF::FromHTML which explicitly doesn't
handle CSS [1].

This patch makes it use the `weasyprint` command-line tool to generate
the PDF. This tool handles CSS correctly.

To test:
1. Install weasyprint:
   $ apt install weasyprint
2. Add some style to your DISCHARGE letter. I used:
<<today>>
<h1>Discharge confirmation</h1>
<p style="background-color: yellow;"><<branches.branchname>> certifies that the following borrower:<br>
<<borrowers.firstname>> <<borrowers.surname>> (cardnumber: <<borrowers.cardnumber>>)<br>
has returned all items.</p>
3. Have some non-latin chars on the patron name. I picked 'Henry
   Acevedo' and added 'Δοκιμή' as picked from bug 23589. Only to check no
   regressions.
4. Enable the 'UseDischarge' syspref
5. Go to Henry's detail page
6. Choose More > Discharge and Generate the discharge
=> SUCCESS:
   - Style is applied to the PDF
   - Greek characters are displayed correctly
7. Run the tests:
   $ kshell
  k$ prove -v t/db_dependent/Patron/Borrower_Discharge.t
=> SUCCESS: The rewritten tests pass!
8. Remove weasyprint:
   $ apt remove weasyprint
9. Repeat 7
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass, relevant test is skipped because of missing
            weasyprint
10. Sign off :-D
