Reorganize and expand Cypress tests into three focused spec files:
bookingsModalBasic_spec.ts:
- Modal initialization and field interactions
- Form validation and submission
- Edit booking functionality
- 'Any item' booking with server-side item selection
bookingsModalDatePicker_spec.ts:
- Flatpickr initialization and constraints
- Date range validation
- Circulation rules (issue length, renewals)
- Lead/trail period conflict detection
- 'Any item' mode date availability
- Event dots for existing bookings
bookingsModalTimezone_spec.ts:
- Cross-timezone date display
- Multi-day booking spans
- Conflict detection with timezone awareness
- API round-trip date preservation
- Month boundary handling
Add shared test utilities to e2e.js for date helpers.

This adds helper methods for cypress to work with flatpickr date pickers:
- openFlatpickr() - open the calendar
- selectFlatpickrDate() - select a single date
- selectFlatpickrDateRange() - select date range
- clearFlatpickr() - clear the selected dates
- getFlatpickrDate() - get specific date element
- getFlapickrSelectedDates() - get flatpickr selected dates array
- navigateToFlatpickrMonth() - navigate calendar
These helpers simplify date picker testing when using flatpickr.

This adds helper methods for cypress to work with select2 dropdowns:
- selectFromSelect2ByIndex() - select by option index
- selectFromSelect2() - select by text value
- clearSelect2() - clear selection
These helpers handle the complexities of interacting with Select2
components which cannot be selected using standard Cypress commands.

These tests have always passed for me running cypress on UI, before and after this patch.
CLI tests however, were flaky and often times failed.
It appears this is because each module refresh was flooding the server with HTTP requests causing the whole thing to bottleneck (?)
With this patch, all widget requests are stubbed for every widget test, and tests now pass on CLI consistently. Passed 10/10 for me, whereas before it failed more often than passed.
Run this:
for i in {1..10}; do cypress run --spec t/cypress/integration/ERM/ModuleDashboard_spec.ts; done

Currently JS warnings during Cypress tests are ignored.
This change intercepts console warnings in the browser and if any occurs
the test failed
This helps catch potential issues and ensures that warnings are not
silently ignored during test runs.

Cypress tests need RESTBasicAuth - I’m stuck in a chicken-and-egg problem being eaten by its own tail...
I need advice. Some Cypress tests need RESTBasicAuth, but it's disabled by default.
My plan was to turn it on globally (ie. set before any tests, and reset to its original value after)
but we cannot right now:
Update in DB could work, but its cached
Call the svc script won't work, as we are not logged in yet (and this script require the session cookie)
so, I have a lot of solutions, but not sure which one to pick
* have a "flush cache" route (smells the rabbit hole)
* login to get the cookie, set the syspref via the svc script, logout (ugly, and will slower the cypress tests)
* require the pref on for cypress tests
* ?
I would opt now for the third option, turn it on in Jenkins when we run the cypress tests. And explode for devs when the pref is not set.
What do you think?
If we push this as it, Jenkins is going to fail.
We need to restructure how Jenkins is running the Cypress tests anyway:
we need a dedicated job to run them all. We will turn ON the syspref for
this job.

This patch suggests to replace cypress-mysql with mysql2
cypress-mysql provides a custom Cypress command (cy.query) that run within the browser context.
This approach mixes test-side and server-side and is limited in flexibility and error handling.
mysql2 runs inside Cypress plugins (Node process) via cy.task calls, which are executed server-side (outside the browser)
This is needed for the follow-up bug reports where we need to request
the DB from other plugins
Test plan:
Run `yarn install` to install the mysql2
All the Cypress tests modified by this patch must still pass
The new test t/cypress/integration/t/db.ts must also pass

This patch updates sidebar menu markup so that it's consistent, with a
common class (".sidebar_menu") and a unique ID. The style is tied to the
class rather than the ID, simplifying the CSS.
Note: This patch contains indentation changes so ignore whitespace when
viewing the diff.
The updated patch contains corrections to JavaScript which needed
selectors to be changed to match the new markup.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS

This patch makes the authentication parameters be configurable through
env. Before this, it was hardcoded to koha/koha, which only works if the
ktd defaults haven't been tweaked.
If no env is defined, it fallsback to koha/koha.
In order to pass the ktd configured params, the tests need to be run
like:
$ yarn cypress run --env KOHA_USER=$KOHA_USER,KOHA_PASS=$KOHA_PASS

This patch solves this by enabling the system preference before each test,
right after login. It also sets the system preference back to its original
initial value after the tests finish running.
To test:
1) Disable ERMModule system preference
2) Run cypess tests: yarn cypress open / yarn cypress run
3) Verify that tests run successfully
(Optional): While tests are running, visit the system preferences panel and verify that the system preference is now "Enable".
4) Wait for the tests to finish and confirm that the system preference is set back to its original "Disable" value.
