This patch uses the patron category of the patron who requested the most
relevant recall to check for more specific circulation rules relating to
recalls. This ensures that patrons who are allowed to place recalls are
able to fill their recalls, especially when recalls are not generally
available for all patron categories.
To test:
1) Go to Administration -> System preferences and enable UseRecalls
2) Go to Administration -> Circulation and fines rules and set a general
All/All rule and a Category A/Itemtype A rule. All values can be set
however you like except for these recalls rules:
All/All rule:
Recalls allowed: 0
Recalls per record: 0
On shelf recalls allowed: if any unavailable
Category A/Itemtype A rule:
Recalls allowed: 5
Recalls per record: 5
On shelf recalls allowed: if any unavailable
3) Find an item of Itemtype A. Check it out to Patron A (any category).
4) Log into the OPAC as Patron B (of Category A). Find the item and
place a recall on the item.
5) Back in the staff interface, check in the item. This should trigger
the recalls process so you can allocate the item to Patron B's recall,
however the pop-up box to confirm the recall does not show. This is the
bug.
6) Apply the patch and restart services
7) Check in the item again. Confirm the pop-up box to confirm the recall
shows and you are able to allocate the item to Patron B's recall.
8) Confirm tests pass t/db_dependent/Koha/Item.t

Hold::set_waiting should calculate the MaxPickupDelay expiration date
based on waitingdate rather than the current date, to avoid resetting
the expirationdate on a hold that was already waiting.
To test:
1. Place a hold and check in the item so the hold will be set to Waiting
2. Confirm that the expiration date is correct based on the
ReservesMaxPickupDelay setting
3. Adjust your system clock to one day later
4. Check in the item again and confirm the hold
5. Note that the expiration date has changed
7. Apply patch and restart_all
8. Repeat steps 1-4. Confirm that the expiration date is calculated
correctly, and does not change when the item is checked in again
9. Reset your system clock to the current date
10. Set ExcludeHolidaysFromMaxPickupDelay to Use the Calendar
11. Add an upcoming holiday to the calendar
12. Repeat steps 1-4. Confirm the expiration date correctly accounts for
the holiday, and does not change when the item is checked in again

In MARC 21, having title search field defined in mappings.yaml as 245abp
(more than one subfield), the Koha generated title__sort will have not
only $a, but also other subfields cut by ind2 characters, i.e.:
245 04 $a Die Renaissance : $b Architektur, Plastik, Malerei, Illustrationen, Zeichnungen
becomes as title__sort:
Renaissance : itektur, Plastik, Malerei, Illustrationen, Zeichnungen
instead of:
Renaissance : Architektur, Plastik, Malerei, Illustrationen, Zeichnungen
This is because copying an array of pointers in Perl causes you to
point to the same (anonymous) element. Therefore, the intended
modification only for subfield "a"
(Koha/SearchEngine/Elasticsearch.pm, ~line 1157) causes in fact
modification for all the subfields sharing the same mapping
definition and introduction of the nonfiling_characters_indicator to
all subfields 245 when processing 245abp. And this is obviously not
what is intended and results (in some cases) with bad sort order
when sorting by titles.
Test plan
=========
1. Have a standard Koha ES installation. In mappings.yaml
you should have 245abp for title search field.
2. Insert / download / modify a record with 245 $b or $p,
an article at the beginning of the title, and correctly
set 2nd indicator. For instance:
245 04 $a Die Renaissance : $b Architektur, Plastik, Malerei, Illustrationen, Zeichnungen
3. In ES, with Kibana or culr, control the content of
title__sort field for the related document. It will be:
Renaissance : itektur, Plastik, Malerei, Illustrationen, Zeichnungen
4. Apply the patch, full reindex ES (--rebuild -r -d -a -b)
5. In ES, with Kibana or culr, control the content of
title__sort field for the related document. It should
be now correct, i.e.:
Renaissance : Architektur, Plastik, Malerei, Illustrationen, Zeichnungen

2. koha-plack --restart kohadev
3. Create a patron, setting the date of birth to one of these three dates

This patch can largely be checked in the code to ensure it makes sense, it
moves a conditional up one level for the two different checks that could prevent holds
To test:
1 - Attempt to place a hold via the REST API with an invalid pickup location
Set pickup location as no in branches to make this easy
2 - Confirm you get an error
3 - Attempt again with header (bug 27760):
x-koha-override: any
4 - Hold is placed
5 - Repeat 1-4 above but with an item that cannot be held
6 - Apply patch
7 - Repeat 1-4 above
8 - Results should be the same

With IndependentBranches Koha explodes with Error 500 when a non
superlibrarian tries to add to basket from suggestions. In errorlog you
would find "DBIx::Class::Storage::DBI::_dbh_execute(): DBI Exception:
DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Column 'branchcode' in where clause is
ambiguous".
Test plan:
==========
1. Have a Koha instance with IndependentBranches, some accepted
suggestions, and a vendor defined.
2. Be a non superlibrarian librarian with permissions to
manage acquisitions.
3. Create a new basket and try to add an item to the basket
"From a suggestion".

This patch adds the status_alias column to the ILLHiddenRequestStatuses sys pref check.
Because requests will have status_alias NULL by default, we also check for that.
Test plan:

Create multiple ILLSTATUS entries

worker, becaue it was not yet in the DB
To test:
1 - Make sure you are using ES, and the es indexer is running
2 - tail -f /var/log/koha/kohadev/*.log
3 - Issue an item to a patron and renew it
4 - Note error in es-indexer-output.log like:

4 - confirm patron doesn't have a fine because the item was not late
5 - set the item to Lost
6 - in the database, edit the date_due of your checkout to a date in the past

SendPasswordRecoveryEmail relies on the calling script to tell if there is an
existing valid recovery already. If there's an expired recovery-entry the
members/notices.pl script will try to create a new entry resulting in a duplicate
key error.
This patch fixes the bug by removing the need for the calling script to do the check as
since SendPasswordRecoveryEmail does the same thing anyway.
SendPasswordRecoveryEmail will now use DBIx ->update_or_create instead of looking at
the $update param to determine if it should update an existing entry or create a new.
The update param is removed from all calling scripts and test are updated.
To test:
1. Generate a password recovery mail for a patron
2. Let it expire.
3. Generate a new password recovery from staff to the same patron - Fail!
4: Apply patch
5. Generate a new password recovery from staff to the same patron - Success!
6. Opac password recovery flow should also work.

This patch strips the blank facets from the ES aggregations, this seems
to only affect language fields currently, but could affect any facetable field
that can contain blank values
To test:
1 - Have Koha running Elasticsearch with standard test data,
or add some records with blank values in the 008/35-37
2 - Search for 'a'
3 - Look at the language facets, they should appear normal
4 - Browse to:
http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/search.pl?idx=&q=a&sort_by=relevance_dsc&count=20&limit=ln:
5 - Note there is now an 'x' under the Languages facet - to remove a limit you cannot see
6 - Apply patch
7 - Reload
8 - Note the x is not there
9 - Inspect HTML, confirm no blank link under language facets

This patch fixes a regression introduced by bug 29695 that prevented
setting the title as a required field when setting the
OPACSuggestionMandatoryFields to a non-default value.
To test:
[1] Set OPACSuggestionMandatoryFields in the system preferences
editor and note that 'title' is not listed in the modal
that is displayed.
[2] Apply the patch.
[3] Revist the system preference editor and note that 'title'
is now displayed as an option.

marc_subfield_structure.kohafield can be NULL, but it can also be an
empty string. But in that case, Koha::Item::as_marc_field ignores them,
which means the resulting MARC::Field object has missing data.
This can produce a bug in OPAC ISBD view (and probably other places
where this method is used)
Test plan:
1. Edit the default biblio MARC framework for the item field: find or
create a subfield that is not linked to a DB column.
Save even if you made no changes to make sure that
marc_subfield_structure.kohafield is set to an empty string.
I'll use 995$Z as an example for the following steps.
2. Add the following to syspref OPACISBD:
#995|<br>Item:|{995Z}|
3. Create a biblio with an item and put a value into 995$Z
4. Go to the ISBD detail page for this record at OPAC. Confirm that the
value you entered in 995$Z is not visible
5. Apply patch and restart koha
6. Refresh the ISBD detail page. Confirm that the 995$Z is now visible.
7. Run `prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Item.t`

This patch updates the mapping to reflect the split and rename of the
preferences section of the manual.
Test plan
1) Hitting 'Help' on any tab except for 'Local use' should lead you to
the globalpreferences section of the manual for your Koha version.
2) Hitting 'Help' on the 'Local use' tab should take you directly to the
'localusepreferences' manual page.
NOTE: I have now updated the manual build pipeline to remove
renamed/deleted files so prior to this patch you should now see a 404
response when clicking Help from these pages. Before I made that
change, we had the old file hanging around, so you actually got an
outdated manual page disguised as a more recent version.

In Zebra the availability limit code states:
'available' is defined as (items.onloan is NULL) and (items.itemlost = 0)
We should make ES follow the same behaviour so that changing the engine does not
change this.
To test:
1 - Find or create several records with two items each
2 - For those records setup items as:
a - one checked out, one available
b - both marked lost
c - both damaged
d - both withdrawn
e - both notforloan
3 - Enable ES and reindex to confirm everything is set
4 - Perform an advanced search to return those records and 'limit to available items'
5 - Confirm you see records b,c,d,e and records say '2 items, none available'
6 - Apply patch
7 - Run `misc/search_tools/rebuild_elasticsearch.pl -d -b`
8 - Perform an advanced search to return those records and 'limit to available items'
9 - Confirm you see records a,b,c,d and al but a say '2 items, none available'

Add a new boolean ES field named 'available', which is true if at least
one item is available, which means the item is not on loan, not
"notforloan", not withdrawn, not lost and not damaged
A full indexation is required
Test plan:
1. Apply patch and run updatedatabase.pl
2. Run `misc/search_tools/rebuild_elasticsearch.pl -d -b`
3. Make sure you have some biblios whose items are all unavailable, some
biblios whose items are all available, and some biblios with at least
one item available and at least one item unavailable

works as expected.

Bug 30982: Adapt table to new API spec
Disclaimer: this patch is highly opinionated :-D
When I started looking at this patch I felt like the two tables
(current/past jobs) implemented on bug 30462 was the way to go.
In order to make this patches apply after it I had to redo all the
things. Or most of them.
But I decided to keep the idea of filtering out completed tasks, not
just having the option to display 'the last hour' tasks. For the task I
added some required helper methods and the relevant tests as well. So a
behavior change.
Hope you all agree with it.

Bug 30982: (QA follow-up) Remove redundancy from template
The template now contains two lists for both status and type:
a TT list and a JS list. The type list already proves that
redundancy leads to bugs. We miss three types at one side:
Unknown job type 'stage_marc_for_import'
Unknown job type 'marc_import_commit_batch'
Unknown job type 'marc_import_revert_batch'
This patch removes the TT list. And gets the status and type
via an additional js call. For that reason I hide the fieldset
until document ready. This can be improved later when needed.
Test plan:
Look at status and type on both job list and detail view.

The change in batchMod.pl is not needed when we fix the builder.
But we could at least add a comment there!
Note that passing the biblionumber of the first item does not
make sense since we are modifying items from several biblio
records normally. We most probably do not want this MARC
record's itemcallnumber (via the syspref) in all our items.
Test plan:
Test batchMod with and without the Populate fields checkbox.
Fill syspref 'itemcallnumber' with e.g. 084a.
Check Populate, and try again.
