It was missing and the notice sent was not providing the reason of the
failure.
Test plan:
Check an item out with a date in the past, mark it as auto renew
Modify the expired date of the patron and set it in the past
Run the automatic_renewals.pl cronjob script, confirm that the notice
now contains the reason of the failure.
QA note: The template will be updated only for English installations.

"I don't like this patch at all!"
"We will see a cataloger revolt if we do not find a way to make this
optional for catalogers."
I imagined a hord of catalogers running behind me and I got scared.
This patch will allow to turn the new feature added by bug 25728 off.
Test plan:
Confirm that the new CreateAVFromCataloguing will permit to turn the
feature off.

This bug adds a system preference to control ordering of facets and
adds the control to both Zebra and Elasticsearch
To test:
1 - Have a koha that can use both Zebra and ES
2 - Set 'displayFacetCount' to true
3 - Search in ES and Zebra
4 - Note facets in Zebra sorted alphabetically, ES by usage
5 - Apply patch, updatedatabase
6 - Search in ES and Zebra, facets are alphabetically sorted in both
7 - Find new syspref FacetOrder and set to 'by usage'
8 - Search in both engines, facets sorted by usage

DefaultHldexpirationDate is set in the pref screen to 'yes/no'
The code checks if the preference is 'true', 'no' is true
We should instead use 1/0
To test:
0 - Have a fresh devbox
1 - With syspref disabled, place a hold
2 - Note no expiration date set
3 - Enable the preference
4 - Place a hold and note the expiration date is set, good
5 - Disable the pref
6 - Place a hold and note the expiration date is set, bad
7 - Apply patch
8 - Update database
9 - Repeat 1-8, date not set when pref disabled

Default stylesheets do not reference item fields for XSLT display, however, we
spend time translating the values in the item fields.
This patch adds a system preference, PassItemMarcToXSLT. and unless enabled we remove
item fields before processing
To test:
1 - Perform some search on the staff client and opac
2 - Use the console (F12) to view the time spent on the network tab
3 - Note performance
4 - Apply patch, updatedatabase, restart_all
5 - Repeat searches
6 - Note that display has not changed
7 - Note performance, results should display slightly faster

This patch adds 'can_be_blank => 0' for the rentaldiscount rule to prevent
storing blank values in the database
Additionally, if there is no charge we do not need to check for a discount
and can simply return
To test:
1 - Set rental discount to "" to a rule in circulation rules
2 - Checkout an item that will follow this rule
3 - Check the intranet log:
[WARN] Argument "" isn't numeric in subtraction (-) at /kohadevbox/koha/C4/Circulation.pm line 3385.
4 - Apply patch and restart all
5 - Update database
6 - Set the rule to "" again
7 - Check the DB, no rule is stored
SELECT * FROM circulation_rules WHERE rule_name = 'rentaldiscount';
8 - Checkout the item again
9 - No warns in log

The holds queue builder can take a very long time to run on systems with many holds. For example, a partner with 124,784 unfilled ( not found ) holds, is taking about 64 minutes to run. If we run that same number of holds in 5 parallel chunks ( splitting the number of records as evenly as possible, but *not* taking into account the holds per bib ), it takes 21.5 minutes. If we use 10 loops, it takes less then 14 minutes.
Test Plan:
1) Generate a huge number of holds ( a few thousand at the minimum )
2) Run the holds queue builder, use the `time` utility to track how much
time it took to run
3) Set HoldsQueueParallelLoopsCount to 10
4) Repeat step 2, note the improvement in speed
5) Experiment with other values for HoldsQueueParallelLoopsCount
6) prove t/db_dependent/HoldsQueue.t
There are two things here:
* Branches.pickup_location has a default = 1 in DB, we should not set to undef if 0
or it will be set to 1 when stored.
* The other fields are all text (varchar, mediumtext or longtext) and
can be NULL. They are correct set to NULL when a new library is created
but set to an empty string when the library is modified. That's not
consistent
Test plan:
0. Don't apply the patch
1. Create a new library, set pickup location to "No"
2. Save
=> Pickup location is set to YES
=> In DB notice that the different values you didn't fill in are set to
NULL
3. Edit the library
4. Save
=> In DB notice that the different values you didn't fill in are now set
to an empty string
5. Apply the patch, restart_all
6. Run the updatedatabase script
=> In DB all the empty string values are set to NULL
7. Repeat 1 to 4 and confirm that everything is now working as expected

To test:
1. Apply patch, updatedatabase, restart_all
2. Make sure the system pref 'NewsLog' is turned on.
3. Go to the Koha News tool and create a new news item.
4. View the logs and display only the OPAC News module
5. You should see your new news, it will include the lang (
OPACheader_en ) and the content of the news item.
6. Filter the logs so the only action is 'Add', your new news item
should appear
7. Modify some news items
8. They should appear in the logs now as modification.
9. Make sure you can filter the action to 'Modify' and can confirm it
works
10. Delete some news items
11. They should appear in the logs now as deletinon
12. Make sure you can filter the action to 'Delete' and can confirm it
works

These were in active use before and were accidentally deleted in Bug

deletedborrowers contain the column exactly like it was before after
applying these patches by comparing to the old kohastructure.sql
