To test:
1. Make some patron reasons for suggestion via Home > Administration > Authorized values > OPAC_SUG
2. Give those reasons a description.
3. Make several suggestions via staff client and/or OPAC and apply some of the reasons you just made
4. Apply patch
5. Go to Home > Acquistions > Suggestions management
6. Give some of the suggestions some different status (PENDING/REJECTED/ACCEPTED/ect)
7. Make sure on each of the tables you can see the column 'Patron reason'
8. Go to Administration > Table settings and attempt to hide the column.
9. Confirm that the column is properly hidden on the Suggestions management page

Table settings for the account_fines table (in the Patrons section, the
"Transactions" table in a patron account) are missing a checkbox for the
"Updated On" column. Because of this, one cannot hide the Updated On
column and any other values one sets here get applied to the wrong
columns.
This patch adds timestamp to account-fines column settings.
To test:
1) Navigate to columns settings page and modify account-fines tables
column.
=> Note that if you hide e.g. account_type column, column
credit_number is hidden on patrons account page
2) Apply patch and update database.
=> Account-fines column settings has now a option to hide timestamp.
=> Correct columns should now be hidden.

On the detail view the number of columns changed, we cannot use the
default sort order here.
It certainly can be done on a different way but I prefer to postpone it
for now and see later.

On the acquisition table the sort option is not available as we don't
offer the ability to selection asc/desc and default to asc.
We cannot offer default_display_length for those tables.

"normal" means that we are expecting the table to have the 2 options
implemented and working.
You can select "Default display length" and "Default sort order"
in the "table settings" administration view, then go the the view
and confirm that the table has the configured values pre-selected.

The syspref NumSavedReports can be moved to the table settings config
Test plan:
1. Set the syspref to a given value
2. updatedatabase # execute the atomic update
3. Go to the table settings page and confirm that the syspref's value
has been retrieved
4. Select a specific colonne for the default sort
5. Go to the report list view and confirm that the "Show X entries" has
the correct selected value and that the table is sorted as you expect.

To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache
1. Go to acqui-home.pl
2. Test that the "Columns" button works to show and hide columns.
3. Go to Administration -> Table settings and look under the Acquisitions tab for the page 'acq_acqui-home' and the table 'accounts'.
4. Hide each column and make sure it hides correctly on acqui-home.pl
5. Test the export options (Excel, CSV, etc) and make sure hidden columns do not show up.
6. Make sure the totals at the bottom of the screen can still be calculated

1. Have some holds awaiting pickup, also have some holds that have been waiting longer than the ReservesMaxPickUpDelay is set to.
2. Go to /cgi-bin/koha/circ/waitingreserves.pl
3. There is no expiration date
4. Apply patch and restart_all
5. Now there should be a Expiration date column, make sure you can see it in both Holds waiting and Holds waiting over X days
6. Make sure all the columns Waiting Since, Date hold placed, and expiration date still sort correctly
6. Go to Table settings, and make sure all the columns hide correctly for both of the holds_awaiting_pickup tables ( holdst & holdso )
Note: This patch also corrects 2 other small problems
1. Corrects a problem where the table settings did not account for the checkbox column at the beginnning of each table

This patch makes the cataloging reservoir search results a configurable
DataTable. The empty edition and date columns are removed, and an import
data column is added.
To test, apply the patch and go to Cataloging.
- Perform a cataloging search which will return results from the
reservoir.
- The table of reservoir search results should be a DataTable with
paging, navigation, filtering, column configuration, etc.
- Confirm that all DataTable controls work correctly.
- Go to Administration -> Table settings -> Cataloging -> addbooks.
- Try modifying the default configuration and confirm that the
settings take effect.

This patch adds table settings for the three tables which appear on the
patron's "Print summary" view. This will allow the administrator to
set a default configuration for columns on the print summary page.
To test, apply the patch and restart-all to load the revised columns
settings YAML. Rebuild the staff interface SCSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- Go to Administration -> Table settings -> Circulation.
- Under the "Circulation tables" heading you should see a "Jump to" link
to "print_summary."
- In the settings for the print_summary page you should see three
tables: print-summary-checkouts, print-summary-fines, and
print-summary-holds.
- Locate a patron account which has checkouts, fines, and holds.
- From the patron detail view click "Print -> Print summary."
- A new window should open with the print summary view. All tables
should display correctly.
- Test that the "Columns" buttons work correctly to show and hide
columns.
- Make changes to the default settings for these tables to confirm that
they work on the print summary page.

This patch adds a "Date added" column to the table showing uploaded
files. Column configuration is added to the table, and the date column
is hidden by default.
To test, apply the patch and restart all.
- Go to Tools -> Upload.
- If necessary, upload multiple files with the same category.
- Use the "Search uploads by category" form to find those uploads.
- In the table of uploads, confirm that table settings and other
DataTable controls work correctly, including the option to show the
"Date added" column.
- Go to Administration -> Table settings -> Tools -> upload.
- Change the settings for the uploads table.
- Return to Uploads and confirm that your changes are reflected in the
display of the uploads table.

This patch adds an "id" column to the table of MARC modification
templates. The table is now a DataTable with table settings, with the
new column hidden by default to preserve the existing configuration.
To test, apply the patch and restart services.
- Go to Administration -> MARC modification templates.
- If necessary, add two or more templates.
- Confirm that table of templates displays as a DataTable, with all
associated sorting, filtering, export, etc.
- The "id" column should be hidden by default.
- Confirm that column visibility controls work correctly.
- Confirm that the table settings found under Administration -> Table
settings work correctly to set the default visibility of the table
columns.

The parent_code column is missing on the columns_settings.yml file, so
columns are shifted and thus 'Library limitations' is not toggable.
To test:
1. Verify you are not offered the chance to hide the column
2. Apply this patch, restart all the things

This patch adds table settings to the tables shown before and after
a batch of patrons has been submitted for batch patron modification.
To test you must have ExtendedPatronAttributes enabled and at least one
configured.
- Go to Tools -> Batch patron modification
- Submit a set of patrons for modification
- In the table showing patron records which will be modified, confirm
that all DataTables controls work correctly.
- Confirm that the column visibility settings work correctly,
including the controls for extended patron attribute columns.
- Submit a change to your patron batch.
- On the page showing the results, confirm that the DataTables controls
continue to work as expected.
- Go to Administraion -> Table settings and confirm that making changes
to the default configuration for this table (Tools ->
batch_patron_modification -> borrowerst) results in the correct
default columns being shown on the batch patron modification pages.

Preferences of the "Holds to pull" table missing the "Barcode" column.
This patch appends that column name to the "column_settings.yml"
in correct order. This also led to checked out columns in this settings
page that were not those which were hidden when the table displayed
(i.e. columns were shifted).
To reproduce:
1) Head over to /cgi-bin/koha/admin/columns_settings.pl
2) Open the collapsed "Circulation" list, go to the "Holds" page
and find preferences of the "Holds to pull" table there.
3) Check that the "Barcodes" column is missing from it.
4) Mark the last few columns for not to be
displayed (for example, three) and save the preferences.
Remember the column names you checked out.
5) Open the circulations section, then open "Holds to pull" report
when you have there some elements displayed, you should notice that
hidden columns shifted by one, as well if you press "gear" icon to
quickly enable/disable the columns, you will see those unchecked in
list last three will be not those you marked out.
6) Apply the patch.
7) Reload the "table settings" page, check that the "Barcodes"
column is present.
8) Check that on the "Circulation -> Holds to Pull" page all
columns hidden accordingly and properly (as explained in step 5.

This adds the items.copynumber to the checkouts table in the
patron account in the staff interface.
To test:
- Apply patch
- Check out some items with and without copy number in the item
to any patron
- In the checkouts table on the Checkouts and Details tabs:
- Verify that a new column shows 'copy no' shows after 'call no'
- Verify the information displays correctly
- Verify that the column configuration settings for the new column works

This adds a new 'Price' column to the acqusition details tab.

- Apply patch
- Add one or more orders for a record.
- Before closing the basket: go to the detail page in the catalog
- Verify that the price estimated/budgetet price now shows in a new column
- Add actual cost to the basket or close the basket and receive the item
- Verify the column now shows the updated actual cost
- Verfy the tooltip on the table heading works
- Verify the column configuration for the new column works as well

The table currently displays the fund, but as late orders can be
from a past budget with the same fund names, this can be confusing.
So adding the budget in addition to the fund will be helpful.
To test:
- Add a basket and an order, close the basket
- Go to the late oder page
- Make sure your order shows up there
- Apply the patch
- Reload the late orders page
- Verify a new column budget shows in the table
- Verify the table configuration settings work for the new column
- Run t/db_dependent/Koha/Acquisition/Fund.t

This add an 'udated_on' column to the letter table and displays
the information in 'slips and notices'.
To test:
- Apply patch
- Run updatedatabase
Note: the existing letters will all be set to the
currnet date).
- Go to Tools > Notices and slips
- Verify there is a new column "Last updated" in the table
Note: The table will always display the newest change date
of the different message transport types.
- Edit any notice
- Verify the "Last updated" is shown for any transport type
with an existing notice definition
- Edit and add a notice
- Verify the dates are correctly stored
- Test the column configuration for the new column works

Hiding the last columns on the fines transactions in the
patron account in staff didn't work correctly as we had missed
adding Home library to the configuration options when it was
added.
This adds the missing definition and now all columns can be
toggled correctly.
To test:
- Go to any patron account in staff
- Go to Accounting > tab transactions (maybe add some fines)
- Toggle the columns on the table using the menu, especially
- notes, home library and checkout date
- Go to Administration > Table configuration
- Verify the settings for the table work well from there too -
with the patch, home_library will show as new option

In some areas it's required to sequentially number payment slips /
receipts.
This patch adds a database column accountlines.credit_number and a
system preference AutoCreditNumber to control how this number will be
generated. The following options are available:
- Do not automatically generate credit numbers.
This is the current behaviour and the default syspref value.
- Automatically generate credit numbers in the form <year>-0001 (annual)
- Automatically generate credit numbers in the form
<branchcode>yyyymm0001 (branchyyyymmincr)
where <branchcode> is the branch where the user (staff member) is
logged in
- Automatically generate credit numbers in the form 1, 2, 3
(incremental)
It also adds a column (hidden by default) in the table under
Transactions tab to display this number.
Test plan:
0. Apply patch, run updatedatabase and update_dbix_class_files
1. Go to Admin » Column settings, and uncheck the 'hidden' box for
column credit_number in table account-fines. It will be easier for
testing
2. Create a manual credit for a borrower. Verify in Transactions tab
that this credit has no number generated
3. Change syspref 'AutoCreditNumber' to 'incremental'
4. Create more manual credits, and verify that the numbers generated are
1, 2, 3, ...
5. Change syspref 'AutoCreditNumber' to 'annual'
6. Create more manual credits, and verify that the numbers generated are
'2020-0001', '2020-0002', ...
7. Change syspref to 'AutoCreditNumber' to 'branchyyyymmincr'

connected to library BRANCHA, and it's February 2020)
9. Set library to another one, say BRANCHB
10. Create more manual credits, and verify that the numbers generated are

11. Edit the letter ACCOUNT_CREDIT, and add [% account.credit_number %]
somewhere. Go back to Transactions tab and click on 'Print' for one
line that has a credit number. Make sure the number is there.

This patch adds column configuration to the orders by funds report
results table. The "Basket" column is excluded from being togglable.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Go to Reports -> Orders by fund
- Submit parameters which will return multiple results.
- Test that the "Column visibility" button works to show and hide
columns. The "Basket" column should be excluded.
- Test the export options (Excel, CSV, etc)
- Go to Administration -> Columns settings and edit the default
configuration of the orders by fund report. Confirm that these changes
are reflected in the report results.

2) System preference: UseCashRegisters - set to Use
3) Administration > Accounting > Cash registers - create a new cash register for the library you're logged in as
4) Administration > Accounting > Debit types - create at least one debit type
5) Home > Point of sale - verify that all four columns exist in the Items for purchase table: Code, Description, Cost, Action
6) Administration > Additional parameters > Table settings > Point of sale - change which columns can be hidden and/or toggled
7) Home > Point of sale - verify that your choices have been implemented (columns are hidden, columns can be toggled, columns can't be toggled)
8) Repeat steps 6 and 7 for different combinations, checking that they all work.

This patch adds DataTables with columns configuration to the log viewer.
The table of log entries is now sorted by default by date descending.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Table settings.
- Expand the "Tools" section and confirm that there is a section for
"logviewer."
- Go to Tools -> Log viewer.
- Perform a search which will return multiple results.
- Confirm that the results are sorted by date descending.
- Test that the table controls work correctly: Paging, columns, export.
- Return to the Table settings administration page and test that
changes to those settings are correctly reflected in the log viewer
table.

This patch corrects the column configuration tool for basket.pl
TO TEST:
1. Go to Acquisitions and look at basket.pl
2. Open another tab and go to column configuration and try to hide some columns like Quantity.
3. See that the wrong columns are being hidden.
4. Apply patch
5. Trying hiding each column in the table and make sure the correct one is being hidden.

2. Go to the accounting tab and look at both the Tranaction tab and Make a payment Tab
3. No Issue Date
4. Apply patch
5. Check those tabs again and see the issue date displays.
6. Go to column configuration and try to hide the issuedate, make sure it hides properly. Try this for both tables. Also make sure other columns hide properly.

The date accessioned column in the items table was not
configurable in the columns settings.
To test:
- Make sure the Date accessioned is shown in the column list
on both tables
- Make sure that configuring it via Adminitration > Configure
columns works as intended

The checkouts tables on the checkouts and details tabs in the staff
patron account support column confiugration, but the new column
"Return claims" was missing.
This patch adds the column to the column configuration.
To test:
- Make sure to test with a patron having return claims and without
- Verify cou can toggle the visibility of the return claims column
from top of the tables in the checkouts and details tabs
- Go to administrastion > column configuration
- Change the settings for the issues tables in the Patrons and
Circulation sections
- Verify the changes have been applied to the tables as configured

This patch adds columns configuration to the holds awaiting pickup
tables. Doing so helps solve the printing issue by adding a "Print"
option to both tables. Using this print function will provide a
printable version of only that table.
To test you should have multiple holds in your system which are marked
"waiting" and some which have been waiting longer than the value
specified in the ReservesMaxPickUpDelay system preference.
Apply the patch and go to Circulation -> Holds awaiting pickup.
- On both the "Holds waiting" and "Holds waiting over..." tabs the
DataTable should display correctly and all the controls should work,
including the columns settings and the choices in the export menu.
- Confirm that the "Print" action creates a printable version of only
the table you are viewing.
- Go to Administration -> Columns settings -> Circulation.
- Change some visibility controls for the tables under the
"holds_awaiting_pickup" heading (id=holdso and id=holdst). Confirm
that these changes are reflected in the "Holds waiting" interface.

This patch corrects the order of the columns in the columns
configuration YML file. The incorrect order was causing the wrong column
to be hidden when changing the columns settings for the table in
Administration.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Columns settings.
- Under Patrons -> pay-fines-table, test hiding the account_type and
description columns, together and separately.
- Verify that the correct columns are hidden on the pay fines screen
(Patron -> Accounting -> Make a payment)

This patch adds DataTables column configuration and export options to
the suggestions management tables in the staff interface.
The columns settings made via the administrative interface will affect
tables under each tab in the interface whether it be organized by
status, library, etc. However because of the way the KohaTable function
is currently written, changes made via the "Columns" button will only
affect the visible table.
To test, apply the patch and go to Acquisitions -> Suggestions.
- Under each tab, the table of suggestions should have a DataTables
toolbar with export and columns buttons. These controls should work
correctly:
- Showing and hiding columns should work as expected
- Exports should work, excluding the first and last columns
- Test the tables when using the various "Organize by" settings.
- Test changing the settings in Administration -> Columns settings.
- Verify that the changes you make to that configuration are
reflected in the suggestions tables.

This patch adds some new columns to the overdue report: Patron category,
item home library, item holding library, item type. Adding these columns
makes available columns better match the available filter fields in the
sidebar form.
Column configuration is added to this DataTable, with the new columns
defined as hidden by default in order to preserve current functionality.
This patch also fixes a bug where the home and holding branch template
variable names didn't match what was being used in the template for
pre-selecting the searched-for value in the sidebar filter menu.
To test, apply the patch and go to Circulation -> Overdues.
- The list of overdues should look correct, with no new columns shown.
- Test the column visibility button, showing the columns which are
hidden by default. Confirm that the data in these columns displays
correctly.
- Update the default configuration for this table in Administration
-> Configure columns. Confirm that your changes are applied to the
overdues report.

This patch adds columns configuration to the DataTable which displays
Z39.50 search results in the cataloging module.
The Z39.50 results screen has its own server-side paging system, so I
added some code to copy the page number information ("Page 2 / 6") to
the DataTable toolbar for a more consistent appearance. The wording of
that information has also been modified for consistency's sake.
To test, apply the patch and restart Plack (or restart_all on
kohadevbox)
- Go to Cataloging -> New from Z39.50/SRU.
- Perform a Z39.50 search which will return multiple pages of results.
- Confirm that the DataTable controls work correctly: Search, columns
show/hide, export.
- Confirm that the page number information is correct as you navigate
through pages of results.
- Go to Administration -> Columns settings.
- Confirm that the columns configuration settings for the z3950_search
table in the "Cataloging" section works correctly. Changes made here
should be reflected in the table of Z39.50 search results.
- Test other tables which use columns configuration to confirm that the
changes made in this patch doesn't disrupt their behavior. Test that
any custom columns configuration are applied. For example:
- Administration -> Libraries
- Reports -> Saved reports
- Circulation -> Holds queue

This patch removed references to setting and getting the items.paidfor
field. Where it was used for display, in moredetail.pl, we replace it
with a query on the accountlines.

This patch adds columns configuration and export features to the
checkout history page.
This patch also removes some inline CSS: "overflow:hidden" from both the
checkout and holds history pages. This was breaking the table controls
tooltips, and didn't appear to me to be necessary.
To test, apply the patch and restart Plack (or restart_all on
kohadevbox).
- Open a patron's checkout history page in the staff client.
- The table of checkouts should have controls at the top.
for columns configuration and export/print.
- These controls should work correctly.

items. Repeat the above DataTables functionality tests.
- Go to Administration -> Columns settings and edit the default
configuration of the stock rotation tables. Confirm that these
changes are reflected in the corresponding tables.

Any important notes about an order are usually added to the
internal note. This patch makes the note visible on the
acq detail tab in the staff client.
To test:
- Add a basket
- Order something
- Add an internal note for the order
- Go to the detail page of the ordered record
- Switch to the Acquisition details tab
- Verify that with the patch the internal note shows
- Verify that the new column can be toggled using the
column visibility settings

Bug 21063: (follow-up) Add user ID to column list
As originally specified in bug 20883, there is a requirement for some
users to be able to display the user ID (borrowernumber) in the UI.
This patch adds that ability to this bug, 20883 will be marked as a

Bug 21063: (follow-up) Sanitize datatable data
This mitigates bug 22268 by sanitizing data prior to display using the
built in $.fn.dataTable.render.text() helper provided by Datatables.
The patch was added here, rather that in 22268 since this is the bug
that introduced the problem by increasing the number of fields that are
displayed in the table, some of which could contain user provided
malicious data

This patch makes a number of changes to the "Pay fines" template, the
goal of which is to make the interface look better in general. Changes
include:
- Styling the "Pay" and "Write off" buttons as Bootstrap buttons.
- Adding DataTables sorting, searching, and filtering.
- Adding a column showing the fine date.
- Hide the "Add note" input, add a link to show it.
- Add some missing "preventDefault" methods from events.
- Add "Writeoff selected" to the buttons which are disabled when there
is no checkbox selection.
- The <tfoot> tag is now expected by the HTML validator to be after
<tbody>, so this section has been moved to suppress validator errors.
To test, apply the patch and locate a patron who has multiple
outstanding fines.
- Go to Fines -> Pay fines
- Confirm that the table of fines is shown as a DataTable, with sorting
on columns which have data.
- Test columns settings in Administration -> Columns settings.
- Confirm that fine dates are shown, and that sorting by this column
works correctly.
- Click an "Add note" link to show a note input field. Focus should be
in the newly-displayed input.
- Confirm that notes are still saved correctly when paying or writing
off single or multiple fines.
- Confirm that when the "add note" input is hidden, its contents are
erased.
- Uncheck all checkboxes by clicking the "Clear all" link at the top.
The "Pay selected" and "Write off selected" buttons should become
disabled.
- Checking any checkbox should re-enable those buttons.
- Test that the relocated "Apply" button (for outstanding credits)
still works as expected.

This patch adds borrowers.phone as 'Primary phone' in the checkout
search results. It also ads the table to columns configuration
To test:
1 - Perform a checkout search
2 - Note phone is not displayed
3 - Apply patch
4 - Note phone does not display
5 - Visit columns configuration
6 - Unhide the 'phone' column
7 - Note phone displays
8 - Ensure page functions as before patch

This patch adds column configuration to the hold ratios report
DataTable.
This patch also amends some JavaScript and markup related to some
obsolete jQuery syntax: A hover function was being used to change an
element's style on hover. It has been removed in favor of using a link
and CSS>
To test, apply the patch and view the hold ratios report using a ratio
which will return multiple results. Confirm that DataTables controls
work correctly: Paging, search, column visibility, export and print.
Click a number in the "hold ratio" column of the table and verify that
it populates the "hold ratio" field in the "refine results" form in the
sidebar.
Test setting default column configurations in Administration -> Columns
settings.

The table is used by circulation.pl and moremember.pl
When it is modified we need to take care of the two view.
Test plan:
Use the columns settings to hide/show the "check in" and other columns
Confirm the this patch fixes the display for moremember.pl
