Bug 21765: Make AutoUnsuspendReserves call Koha::Hold->resume
This patch makes the mentioned method use the biult-in method for
resuming a suspended hold, instead of manually setting the specific
attributes using the accessors.

The side effect for this is that HoldsLog is now honoured.

This patchset also refactors the tests a bit so they rely on the exposed
methods and thus don't rely on specific implementation details (like
suspended hold means a date in suspended_until plus suspended=1).

To test:
- Apply the regression tests patch
- Run:
  $ kshell
 k$ prove t/db_dependent/Reserves/AutoUnsuspendReserves.t
=> FAIL: It fails loudly because things are done manually
- Apply this patch
- Run:
 k$ prove t/db_dependent/Reserves/AutoUnsuspendReserves.t
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass!

Bug 21997: SIP patron information requests can lock patron out of account
Many SIP services send an empty password field (AD). Even if allow_empty_passwords is enabled for the given SIP account, this empty password is run though Koha's password checker which increments the number of login attempts for a patron. Thus repeated patron information requests can lock a patron out! Empty password fields in SIP should not call for a password check if allow_empty_passwords is enabled.

Test Plan:
1) Enable a patron password attempt with a limit of 3
2) Send 4 patron information requests with an empty AD field
3) Note the patron's account is now locked
4) Apply this patch
5) Repeat step 2 with a different patron
6) Note the patron's account does not get locked!

Bug 10676: Fix behaviour of OpacHiddenItems for items.restricted
The numerical restricted value was overwritten in GetItemsInfo
with the description. So OpacHiddenItems would only work for
restricted using the description, not the numerical value
of the authorised value like for other similar status fields.

This changes GetItemsInfo to use a separate variable for
the description, as it's already done for notforloan and
changes the template files where the variable is used
accordingly.

To test
- Before applying patch
- Configure OpacHiddenItems with:
  restricted: [1]
- Find a record with more than one item and mark one of the items
  as "Restricted Access"
  (assume standard sample data - check authorised value if status doesn't exist)
- Verify the item is still shown in OPAC.
- Apply patch
- Verify that the item is now hidden
- Verify that the status still displays nicely in the staff detail page
- Delete OpacHiddenItems
- Verify that the status is showing nicely in the OPAC detail page

Bug 19832: Don't fill holds in SIP/Transaction/Checkout.pm
AddIssue already checks for holds in the item being issued and deals with them

The sip code, additionally, does not consider that multiple holds per bib
is allowed

To test:
 0 - Apply only first patch (unit tests)

Bug 22097: CataloguingLog should be suppressed for item branch transfers
Bug 18816 missed the fact that a branch transfer triggers ModItem and
thus generates an action log line. We should not be creating those
action logs, especially considering the transfers table itself already
documents the transfer.

Bug 21759: Avoid manually setting amountoutstanding in _FixAccountForLostAndReturned
This patch changes the behaviour in the _FixAccountForLostAndFound
method.

The method will now add the amountoutstanding value for the lost item
fee to the CR credit to be generated. This means that:
- If there's some remaining debt, the same amount will be added to the
  CR credit and used to cancel that debt. The final amountoutstanding
  will be the same as before, but an offset will be generated as
  required.
- If the line was written off, the behaviour remains unchanged, so no
  offset.
- If the line was payed and/or written off in full only the payments are
  refund, preserving the current behaviour.

To test:
- Apply the regression tests patch
- Run:
  $ kshell
 k$ prove t/db_dependent/Circulation.t
=> FAIL: Tests fail because the behaviour is not correct

Bug 21955: Remove Cache::Memory as fallback for L2 cache
If Plack is running with several workers we must not use Cache::Memory
as L2 cache.

If a value is set from a worker, it will not be available from other
workers as the Cache::Memory instance is not shared (of course!)

Moreover we now have Koha::Cache::Memory::Lite that does the same job,
so we should not expect performance regressions by removing it.

Also optimize it so it's actually usable.

Test plan:

1. To test it properly you need biblio and authority data. You might get away with enabling AutoCreateAuthorities and BiblioAddsAuthorities so that authorities are created in the process. Another option would be to import authorities first e.g. from LoC.
2. Make sure the authority index has been properly created with "misc/search_tools/rebuild_elastic_search.pl -a -d"

Jonathan Druart 65c4d8019e Bug 15836: Add the ability to defined custom methods to split call number in labels
Currently the call number splitting seems to be mostly implemented for
DDC and LC classifications.
Those are both not very common in some countries.
A lot of libraries use their own custom classification schemes so the call number
plitting is something that should be individually configurable.

This enhancement adds the ability to define custom splitting rules based
on regular expressions.

How does it work so far?
From C4/Labels/Label.pm there are 3 differents splitting methods defined, depending on items.cn_source.
  if cn_source is "lcc' or 'nlm' we split using Library::CallNumber::LC
  if cn_source is 'ddc' we split using a in-house method
Finally there is a fallback method to split on space
And nothing else is done for other cn_source

The idea of this patch is to mimick what was done for the "filing rules" and add
the ability to define "splitting rules" that will be used by the "Classification sources".
A classification source will then have:
  * a filing rule used to sort items by callnumbers
  * a splitting rule used to print labels

To acchieve this goal this enhancement will do the following
modifications at DB level:
* New table class_split_rules
* New column class_sources.class_split_rule

Test plan:
* Execute the update database entry to create the new table and
column.
I. UI Changes
a) Create/modify/delete a filing rule
b) Create/modify/delete a splitting rule
c) Create/modify/delete a classification source
=> A filing rule or splitting rule cannot be removed if used by a
classification source

II. Splitting rule using regular expressions
a) Create a splitting rule using the "Splitting routine" "RegEx"
b) Define several regular expressions, they will be applied one after
the other in the same order you define them.
Something like:
  s/\s/\n/g         # Break on spaces
  s/(\s?=)/\n=/g    # Break on = (unless it's done already)
  s/^(J|K)\n/$1 / # Remove the first break if callnumber starts with J or K
c) You can test the regular expressions using filling the textarea with
a list of callnumbers. Then click "Test" and confirm the callnumbers are
split how you expected.
d) Finally create a new classification source that will use this new
splitting rule.

III. Print the label!
a) Create a layout. It should have the "Split call numbers" checkbox
ticked, and display itemcallnumber
b) Use this layout to export labels, use items with different
classification source ('lcc', 'ddc', but also the new one you have
create)
=> The callnumbers should have been split according to the regex you
defined earlier!

Notes:
* The update database entry fill the class_sources.class_split_rule
with the value of class_sources.class_sort_rule
If default rules exist it will not work, we should add a note in the
release notes (would be enough?)
* C4::ClassSplitRoutine::* should be moved to Koha::ClassSplitRule,
but it sounded better to keep the same pattern as ClassSortRoutines
* Should not we use a LONGTEXT for class_split_rules.split_regex instead
of VARCHAR(255)?

* class_sources.sql should be filled for other languages before pushed
to master!

IMPORTANT NOTES: The regular expressions are stored as it, and eval is
used to evaluate it (perlcritic raises a warning about it (Expression
form of "eval"). It can lead to serious security issues (execution of
arbitrary code on the server), especially if the modifier 'e' is used.
We could then remedy the situation with one of these following points:
- Assume that this DB data is safe (We can add a new permission?)
- Assume that the data is not safe and deal with possible attack
Cons: how be sure we are exhaustive? Making sure it matches ^s///[^e/]*$
would be enough?
- Use Template Toolkit syntax instead (Really safer?)
  [% callnumber.replace('\s', '\n').replace ... %]
- Cut the regex parts: find, replace, modifiers
like we already do for Marc modification template. Cons: we are going to
have escape problems, the "find" and "replace" parts should not be
handle the same way (think "\n", "\\n", "\1", "\s", etc.)
I did not manage to implement this one easily.

Julian Maurice d708255c7a Bug 15395: Allow correct handling of plural translation
Locale::Maketext does not allow correct handling of plural translation
for languages that have more than one plural forms.
Locale::Messages does.

So Koha::I18N is now a wrapper around Locale::Messages, just like
Locale::TextDomain, and export the same symbols as Locale::TextDomain.
You can refer to documentation of Locale::TextDomain to know how to use
exported subroutines.

Example usage:
  __("Hi")
  __x("Hi {name}", name => 'Bob')
  __n("item", "items", $num_items)
  __nx("one item", "{count} items", $num_items, count => $num_items)
  __p("Bibliographic record", "item")

This patch also brings Koha::I18N power to Template::Toolkit templates
by adding a TT plugin.
This plugin can be used like this:

[%# USE the plugin and define some macros %]
[% PROCESS 'i18n.inc' %]

[%# tn is the equivalent of __n %]
[%# macro names can't start with underscore, t is for "translate" %]
[% tn('item', 'items', num_items) %]
Extraction of strings from templates is a bit complicated and use
Template::Parser and PPI. Template is compiled into Perl code and then
analyzed by PPI. It is slow, but should be correct even with complex
constructions.

Remove dependency to Locale::Maketext and Locale::Maketext::Lexicon
Add dependency to Locale::Messages and PPI

Test plan for translation in Perl code:
1. Open a .pl script or .pm module with your favorite text editor
2. Add 'use Koha::I18N;' in the beginning of file
3. Use one of the subroutines exported by Koha::I18N and be sure to have
   a way to visualize the result (pass result to the template for
   example, or simply warn and watch the log file)
4. cd misc/translator && ./translate update fr-FR # try other languages
5. Open misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages.po and translate your
   string(s)
   You may need to change the "Plural-Forms" header. See
   https://localization-guide.readthedocs.org/en/latest/l10n/pluralforms.html
6. ./translate install fr-FR
7. Use your web browser to go to the page that should display the
   translation, change language and verify the translation is correct
8. prove t/Koha/I18N.t

Test plan for translation in templates:
1. Open a template file (.tt or .inc) with your favorite text editor
2. Add the PROCESS directive mentioned above in the beginning of file
3. Use one of the t* macros defined in i18n.inc. They are used like
   their "__" equivalent, with one difference: the 'x' variants take a
   hashref instead of a hash as last parameter
4. cd misc/translator && ./translate update fr-FR
5. Open misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages.po and translate your
   string(s)
6. ./translate install fr-FR
7. Use your web browser to go to the page that should display the
   translation, change language and verify the translation is
   correct

Nick Clemens 4478545368 Bug 20078: Add accelerated reading indexes to getIndexes
To test:
1 - Find a bib with 526$c and 526$d populated, or populate them
 e.g. 526$a 5.5 | 526$d 14
2 - Try searching for 'arl:5.5' or 'arp:14'
3 - Your record should be returned in results
4 - Add the indexes as dropdowns by entering the following in intranetuserjs:
$(document).ready(function(){
        // Add Accelerated Reading Level to advanced search
    if (window.location.href.indexOf("catalogue/search.pl") > -1) {
        $(".advsearch").append('<option value="arl">Accelerated Reading Level</option>');
    }

    // Add Accelerated Reading Point to advanced search
    if (window.location.href.indexOf("catalogue/search.pl") > -1) {
        $(".advsearch").append('<option value="arp">Accelerated Reading Point</option>');
    }
});
5 - Search using these in the dropdown, your record will not be found
6 - Apply patch
7 - Repeat searches directly and by using dropdown, your record should be returned.
8 - prove t/db_dependent/Search.t

    This is a more general problem that needs attention somewhere else.
    It seems that Biblio.pm is one of the suspects.

Mark Tompsett e1b5fa657d Bug 14385: Squash of a lot of patches rebased
- Added missing GetHiddenItems parameter change case
     Without this prove t had a failure.

- Always use mocks, not set_preference

- Tweaks so t/db_dependent/00-strict.t passes
     There was a typo botcat vs borcat and borrowernumber was never
     defined. Grabbing from userenv, like other code does.

- Tweak t/db_dependent/Items.t to fully test changes
     This will test all the if structures fully in GetHiddenItemnumbers.
         prove t/db_dependent/Items.t

- Tweak borrower category code
     $borrower->{categorycode} on a Koha::Patron is not the
     same as $borrower->categorycode. Fixed error.

- Search was returning URLS for wrong interface
     There was one search context place wrong. Changed it to $is_opac
     as the logic for setting $is_opac was modified correctly.

- Corrected issues with category code.
     When a user isn't logged in, $borrower is undef and causes error
     when determining category code. Added conditional check.

- Properly trigger all changes in C4/Search.pm

- Fix QA Test tool failures
     C4/Search.pm had some tabs.

- Add some commenting to make sense of logic

- Refactor EmbedItemsInMarcBiblio parameters to hashref

- Trigger GetMarcBiblio's EmbedItemsInMarcBiblio call.
     prove t/db_dependent/Items.t

- Add missing test to trigger Koha/BiblioUtils/Iterator change

- Add borrower category overrides
     These files generally add borcat parameter to GetMarcBiblio.
     Others might include correction of filtering of items
     (opac-basket), or a comment as to why no changes were done
     (opac-search).

     In the case of opac-search, correcting the first FIXME will
     likely correct the OpacHiddenItems issues on tags. As such,
     that is beyond this bugs scope.

     Some code had loop optimizations and fixes made, like a
     'next unless $record' when the biblio shouldn't even be in
     the list.

- Modify opac-ISBDdetail and opac-MARCdetail
     Both files had similar logic. They were rearranged and
     optimized, so that both files would have practically identical
     initial blocks of code.

     Optimizations were possible, because GetMarcBiblio
     returns a filtered record, so that there is no double call
     (once in the opac-### file and once in GetMarcBiblio) to
     GetHiddenItemnumbers.

- Fix hiding in opac-tags
     opac/opac-tags.pl was not properly hiding.

     There is currently one known bug associated with tags left.
     If you have two biblios tagged by different people with the
     same tag, the opac-search will show the one you tagged that
     is supposed to be hidden, because tag searches work differently
     than regular searches. This is beyond the scope of this bug.
     See the FIXME's in opac/opac-search.pl

- Trigger the C4::ILSDI::Services changes
     prove t/db_dependent/ILSDI_Services.t

- Added missing 'my'

- Test C4/Labels/Label.pm changes

- Improve C4::Record::marcrecord2csv test cases

- Corrected opac-details searchResult call

- Fix breaking issues constraint in ITerator test

- Fix ILSDI_Services test when clubs with branch exist

- Rebased again!
- Rebased t/db_dependent/Items.t conflict.

The test plan is in comment #112 last I checked.

Chris Cormack 5e4e10c4ca Bug 14385: Extend OpacHiddenItems to allow specifying exempt borrower categories
Edit: Fixing merge conflicts in
 - t/db_dependent/Items.t
 - t/db_dependent/Search.t
 - C4/Search.pm

Changes the API for calling GetHiddenItems and all the places in the code that call it. This is to allow borrower categories to be passed in.
Adds an OpacHiddenItemsExceptions syspref to allow certain borrower categories to be able to see items, even if they are marked hidden by OpacHiddenItems

To test:

1) Make two borrowers, one in a category that should see everything (ie Adult), and another in a category that should only see certain things (ie Adult - exceptions)
2) Add the borrower that can see everything (the Adult) to OpacHiddenItemsExceptions
3) To the OpacHiddenItems syspref, add an item type (ensure that you have some records that fall under this type in your library).
4) Log in as the borrower that should only see certain things (Adult - exception)
5) Do a search, filtered to show records which are the item type that you specified in the OpacHiddenItems syspref. No records should show for this borrower as this item type is hidden to them.
6) Log in as the borrower that should see everything (Adult)
7) Do the same search. There should be results from this search, as this borrower category has been specified as an exception to the hidden items

Jonathan Druart 62285d2de4 Bug 20351: Shortcut serials scripts if a blocking error appeared
The idea of output_and_exit_if_error (added by bug 18403) is to make sure
parameters are valid before executing the script.
If not (old or broken URLs), we shortcut everything coming next to display a
generic error ("object does not exist", "you do not have permission to do that", etc.)

This bug report fixes the scripts under serials/*.

Test plan:
Hit the script under the serials directory with an invalid subscriptionid parameter
and confirm you get an error instead of the normal view with empty values.

The goal is not to be exhaustive during the first iteration, but at least to fix
the most common views.

For instance:
/cgi-bin/koha/serials/subscription-detail.pl?subscriptionid=XXX
/cgi-bin/koha/serials/serials-collection.pl?subscriptionid=XXX
/cgi-bin/koha/serials/routing.pl?subscriptionid=XXX&op=new

Marcel de Rooy 4febf0656c Bug 17776: (QA follow-up) Remove shibboleth package variables
This is about $shib and $shib_login.
We move in the right direction by calling get_login_shib in
get_template_and_user and checkauth. In the same line we can do the
shib_ok check at that time (just checking cached values). This paves
the way for the third subroutine using the two package vars: checkpw.
Note that checkpw is also called outside Auth.pm. So I would be more
comfortable if we do the same calls like in checkauth and remove both
variables from the package level (especially under Plack of course).

The former changes actually justify a 'use C4::Auth_with_shibboleth'
instead of the current require and import.

Note: When calling checkpw from checkauth, we are calling get_login_shib
twice now. But the time involved for doing so is around zero (cache), so
not really an argument for extra parameters and complexer code.

Fridolin Somers 78a692dee4 Bug 20151: always use current language for stemming
When stemming is enabled, in catalog searching "C4::Search::_build_stemmed_operand" will transform query operand into stemmed operand using stemmer Lingua::Stem::Snowball with a specified language.
This stemmer returns undef stemmed operand if no language is defined.

In main catalog search (catalogue/search.pl) current language is used.
But in other pages "acqui/neworderbiblio.pl" and "cataloguing/addbooks.pl" no language is defined so stemmed operand is empty and so stemming is not applied.

This patch corrects by returning in "C4::Search::_build_stemmed_operand" operand without change if no langage is defined.
And uses current langage in pages "acqui/neworderbiblio.pl" and "cataloguing/addbooks.pl" so all catalog search uses stemming.

Test plan :
1) Enable system preferences QueryStemming and QueryWeightFields
2) Disable system preferences QueryAutoTruncate, QueryFuzzy and UseQueryParser
3) Go to intranet main page and click on "Search the catalog" tab
4) Perform a search (without index) that uses the stemming, for example searching for "years" will also match "year"
5) Note how many results you get, for example "year" gets 24 results and "years" gets 24 results
6) Go to "Cataloging" module
7) Perform a search on same word in "Cataloging search" tab
8) Note how many results you get
9) Without patch you get fewer results than first search (step 5) because stemming is not applied, for example "year" gets 11 results and "years" gets 15 results
10) With patch you get the same results as first search (step 5) because stemming is applied, for example "year" and "years" gets 24 results
11) Same tests in aquisition module
12) On a basket, click "Add to basket" and perform a search in "From an existing record"

This fixes 2 related problems:

1) The editor only offered 3 entries from biblio for adding to the notice:

It was not clear that actually all fields from biblio can be used.

2) It was not possible to use fields from biblioitems in the notices
which left out important fields like the ISSN.

The patch adds the biblioitems table and changes the editor to show
all entries from biblio and biblioitems table are shown on the left.

To test:
- Create a subscription
- Generate next issue a few times to get late issues
- Create a new notice in the "Claim serial issue" module
  - Use fields from different/all tables
- Make sure an email address is set for
  - the vendor (also check for 'receives claims for late issues')
  - your staff user
- Go to serials > claims
- Claim multiple issues
- Verify the email is generated and contains the correct information

support searching by control number (use attribute 12), you can use czech
national library server:
host: aleph.nkp.cz
port: 9991
base: aut-utf
format: MARC21

Jonathan Druart a62742f426 Bug 21196: Use replacement cost from the item type if not set at item level
When circ rules are set to cap at item replacement cost, calcfine only
checks the price in the item record, not the default replacement cost by
item type.

Note: We do not take '0' into account, what if you do not want to set
a replacement cost for an item? It is how it is done in chargelostitem
so keeping the existing behaviour, but that may be considered as a bug (?)

Test plan:
- Set useDefaultReplacementCost to use
- Set a default replacement cost for a given item type
- Create an item of that type with a replacementcost=0
- Create a circ rule for that item type that accrues fines but caps at
replacement cost
- check the item out, forcing a due date in the past
- check that item in
=> Fines should have been generated

Marcel de Rooy db683b285c Bug 21281: (QA follow-up) Introduce _add_backtics
Added a (initially trivial) test in Creators/Lib.t too.
Sometimes you start something, but you end somewhere else ;)

The test seems a bit slower now (regex, lookahead, etc). But this should
not hurt label creators in daily use.
Advantages: code is even more solid, consolidated in one place and can be
tested on its own.

Kyle M Hall 42c94d185a Bug 19469: Add ability to split view of holds view on record by pickup library and/or itemtype
It is possible to set up circulation rules to limit trapping of holds by pickup library and itemtype.
To make it easier to understand which holds will be trapped in a given circumstance,
it would be nice if we could optionally group holds by pickup library and/or itemtype.

Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch set
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Enable AllowHoldItemTypeSelection

5) Enable HoldsSplitQueueNumbering
6) Try the different combinations of HoldsSplitQueue

   * Top and borrom arrows should move hold to the top or bottom within a hold fieldset

David Cook 331af8521b Bug 13779: sessionID declared twice in C4::Auth::checkauth()
The bug is that $sessionID is declared twice in C4::Auth::checkauth().
At the moment, this doesn't actually create a problem, because no
one seems to be using the $sessionID which is returned by checkauth(),
except in the case of opac/external/overdrive/auth.pl which skips
the second declartion as it doesn't require auth.

This patch removes the redefining of the $sessionID variable.

In terms of testing, try logging in with a username and password
and see if it works. The only risk this patch would pose is breaking
auth I would think, since nothing is actually using the return value
from checkauth() for $sessionID.

NOTE:
It was initially defined near the top of the function (~line 791).
I believe the scoping would mean the correct version of $sessionID
would be used in the latter lines for the unset'ing.
I have skimmed code to see if the sessionID return value is used.
I did not test overdrive, as I do not know how. However, this is
the only area, I think this could possibly break. This change makes
sense to me.

QA: Please test overdrive.
opac/external/overdrive/auth.pl only checks if the value is set, so
   this patch might fix/break something there?
opac/svc/overdrive same kind of check.

This is a (tiny) code improvement. Now we consistently return the session
id that is also stored in the returned cookie. (Which can be an 'anon'
session.)
Fact is that Koha almost everywhere ignores the returned session id and
sometimes gets the session from the cookie (obviously). The session id is
also passed to the template by get_template_and_user but never used in
templates.
As mentioned, the two overdrive scripts are the exception. But since both
test on both $user && $sessionID, they will not choke on an anynonomous
session id without userid. So theoretically fine, but not tested.
