We need a skip_future_holds flag in item->current_holds to make renewals
act as they did before. There is no need to add it to biblio->current_holds.

Run t/db_dependent/Holds.t

to 2 days. Verify that renew is not blocked by this hold.

This patch refactors the revert_waiting method to handle all found statuses
instead of just waiting holds, making it more versatile and consistent.
Changes:
* Renamed method from revert_waiting() to revert_found()
* Expanded functionality to handle all found statuses (W, T, P)
* Updated exception logic to check is_found instead of is_waiting
* Changed exception message from hold_not_waiting to hold_not_found
* Added comprehensive tests for all found statuses
* Updated POD documentation to reflect new behavior
The method now reverts any hold with a found status back to a regular
hold with priority 1, regardless of whether it was waiting, in transit,
or in processing.
To test:
1. Apply the patches
2. Run tests:
$ ktd --shell
k$ cd /kohadevbox/koha
k$ prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Hold.t
=> SUCCESS: All tests pass including new subtests for T and P statuses
3. Verify all hold test suites pass:

This patch simplifies the code a bit, removing duplicated pieces of code
and making it slightly more readable.
The main change is that it now just filters the `@plugin_classes` list
as required, and leaves the original codebase for dealing with loading
the plugins untouched.
A BIG change it implements is that it now requires full class names. I
don't see the use case for partial names, and I generally think we
should be stricter in this area. If there's the need for partial class
names, this should be handled with specific parameters, etc.
It also makes it explicit that the `include` and `exclude` parameters
are mutually exclusive.
A minor idiomatic issue is fixed as well.

I have added the options --include and --exclude to the install_plugins.pl script. When running the script, you can now specify which plugins you want to install (--include) and which ones you do not want to install (--exclude).
--include installs only the plugins from the specified classes.
--exclude installs all plugins except those from the specified classes.
It's possible to specify the package to install a specific plugin.
--include and --exclude cannot be used simultaneously.
Usage example:
./misc/devel/install_plugins --include <package::pluginClass> --include <anotherPluginClass>"
TEST PLAN
1) Apply the patch
2) Add at least three plugins to the plugin directory ([Koha]/plugins/Koha/Plugin/)
3) Empty the "plugin_data" and "plugin_methods" tables (SQL command: "delete from plugin_data; delete from plugin_methods;")
4) In a terminal, execute this command "./misc/devel/install_plugins.pl --include <package::pluginClass> --include <anotherPluginClass>" (Replace <package::pluginClass> and <anotherPluginClass> with the class and package of your plugins)
5) In your Koha intranet, go to "Koha administration > Manage plugins"
6) Verify that only the specified plugins are installed
7) Repeat step 3
8) In a terminal, execute this command from your Koha project"./misc/devel/install_plugins.pl --exclude <package::pluginClass> --exclude <anotherPluginClass>"
9) Verify that all plugins except the specified ones are installed
10) Run the tests from the Plugins.t file ([Koha]/t/db_dependent/Koha/Plugins/Plugins.t)
11) Ensure that all tests are successful

When NotifyPasswordChange is enabled and GetPreparedLetter fails to find
a PASSWORD_CHANGE letter template, the set_password method was returning
early with undef, preventing the password from being changed.
This fixes the issue by:
1. Removing the 'or return;' statement after GetPreparedLetter
2. Wrapping the letter processing in an if block to handle missing templates
3. Ensuring password change continues regardless of notification success
The password change should not fail just because the notification cannot
be sent. The notification is a nice-to-have feature, but the core
functionality (changing the password) should always work.

This patch addresses CSV formula injection vulnerabilities by ensuring
all Text::CSV instances use formula protection.
Changes made:
* Add formula => 'empty' to all Text::CSV constructors in:
- Koha::Patrons::Import
- Koha::BackgroundJob::ImportKBARTFile
- Koha::ERM::EUsage::CounterFile
The 'empty' formula mode causes potentially dangerous formulas (starting
with =, +, -, @) to be treated as empty strings rather than executed,
preventing CSV injection attacks while maintaining data integrity.
Security impact:
* Prevents execution of malicious formulas in CSV imports
* Protects against data exfiltration via CSV formula injection
* Maintains backward compatibility for legitimate CSV data
To test:
1. Apply the previous patch (author test)
2. Run:
$ ktd --shell
k$ prove xt/author/Text_CSV_Various.t
=> FAIL: Should show 3 files without formula protection
3. Apply this patch
4. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: All tests should now pass

=> SUCCESS: Formula content is rejected/emptied, not executed

This new 'Mark completed' screen only shows when ILL_STATUS_ALIAS is not empty, i.e. Koha installations that are not using ILL_STATUS_ALIAS will not see any change in their workflow.
Backends that don't implement 'mark_completed' are inherently already making use of core 'mark_completed' and will automatically adopt this enhancement.
Backends that do implement their own mark_completed don't automatically adopt this enhancement and will not see any change in their workflow.
Test plan:
1) Enable ILLModule sys pref
2) Create a new ILL request:
<staff_url>/cgi-bin/koha/ill/ill-requests.pl?method=create&backend=Standard
3) Add a type, cardnumber and library. Click 'Create'.
4) You should now be on the manage request screen. Click 'Confirm' and 'Confirm request'.
5) You should be on the manage request screen again. Click 'Mark completed'. The request's status became 'Completed'.
6) Add at least one AV entry to ILL_STATUS_ALIAS av category, visit:

7) Add 'abc_code' to 'Authorized value' and 'abc_description' to 'Description'. Click 'Save'.
8) Repeat steps 2 to 5. Notice that when you 'Mark completed' now, a new screen is shown prompting for a status_alias.
9) Pick a status_alias and save. Notice the 'status' now shows the alias.

When the AutoILLBackendPriority system preference is enabled, the form that was used is always the Standard form, regardless of which backend the request ends up on.
It only makes sense that when editing an ILL request's item metadata, the form shown is also the Standard form if AutoILLBackendPriority is in use.
Test plan, k-t-d, don't apply patch:
1) Enable ILLModule
2) Install an external backend, e.g. the libkey lending tool (IncDocs) backend plugin:
https://github.com/openfifth/koha-ill-libkey-lending-tool/releases/tag/v2.0.3
3) Restart plack
$ koha-plack --restart kohadev
4) Create a new IncDocs ILL request:
<staff_url>/cgi-bin/koha/ill/ill-requests.pl?method=create&backend=IncDocs
5) Add a DOI '123', a cardnumber '42' and any library. Click 'Make request'.
6) Enable AutoILLBackendPriority system preference by ticking 'IncDocs'. This is only done now to simplify the test plan, as creating an 'IncDocs' request using AutoILLBackendPriority requires credentials configuration.
7) Back on the 'Manage request' page for the request created in step 5, click 'Edit item metadata'. Notice the form shown is not the 'Standard' form (its the IncDocs one). Edit any of the metadata values, click 'Save'. Verify the new metadata is saved correctly.
8) Apply patch. Repeat 7). Notice the form shown is the 'Standard' form now. Edit any of the metadata values, click "Save". Verify the new medata is saved correctly.

This patch tweaks the `Koha::Exceptions::Plugin` class by adding an
extra parameter to the plugin install and upgrade related exceptions so
they carry the actuall error (if any).
* Koha::Exceptions::Plugin::InstallDied: install_error

`Exception::Class` which makes it stringify using its value only.

This patch aligns handling of the header with how other headers are
managed.
* A helper is added which reads the header and stashes the value
* The helper is called in the same place similar helpers are called
(authenticate_api_request)
* The `objects.search_rs` helper is adjusted to use the stashed value
instead of picking it from the reserved params.
To test:
1. Apply this patches
2. Run:
$ ktd --shell
k$ prove t/Koha/REST/Plugin/Query.t \
t/db_dependent/api/v1/*.t \
t/db_dependent/Koha/REST/Plugin/*
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass! No behavior change!

This patch adds Test::NoWarnings to our EDI unit tests. In doing so, it
reminded me that we still had some old carp style error handling in the
process_quote section and that we shoudl replace those with calls to
Koha::Logger instead.
Changes made:
1. Added Test::NoWarnings import to catch any warnings
2. Replace 'carp "Message"' appropriately with
'$logger->warn("Message")'

When processing EDI invoices without TAX segments, warnings were
generated due to undefined tax rates in multiplication operations.
The tax_rate() method in Koha::Edifact::Line correctly returns undef
when no TAX segments are present in the EDI message. However, the
invoice processing code in Koha::EDI didn't handle this case properly.
This patch fixes the issue by:
- Adding checks for undefined tax rates before using them in calculations
- Defaulting to 0 tax rate when no tax information is present
- Ensuring tax_value calculations use 0 instead of undefined values
This eliminates "Use of uninitialized value in multiplication" warnings
while maintaining correct processing of invoices without tax information.

This patch fixes several warnings that occur when running Edifact tests:
1. Changed `my $self = ()` to `my $self = {}` in Koha::Edifact constructor
to properly initialize as hashref instead of empty list
2. Added null/empty checks in Koha::Edifact::Segment::_parse_seg() to prevent
warnings when processing undefined or empty segments
3. Added null/empty checks in Koha::Edifact::Segment::_get_elements() to
handle undefined segments gracefully
4. Added Test::NoWarnings to t/Edifact.t to catch any remaining warnings
These changes eliminate "Use of uninitialized value" warnings and ensure
clean test runs without affecting EDI functionality.
Test plan:
1. Run prove t/Edifact.t and verify no warnings are displayed
2. Test EDI message processing to ensure no regression
