When OpacSuppression is enabled, records marked as suppressed
(biblio.opac_suppressed = 1) still appear in public lists viewed
through the OPAC. This is confusing for patrons.
This patch adds a filter_by_not_suppressed method to
Koha::Virtualshelfcontents and uses it in opac-shelves.pl to
exclude suppressed records from list display when OpacSuppression
is enabled. OpacSuppressionByIPRange is respected: users within
the allowed IP range still see all records.
Test plan:
1. Apply patch
2. Enable OpacSuppression system preference
3. Create a public list and add some titles to it
4. Suppress one of the titles (set 942$n = 1)
5. View the list in the OPAC
=> SUCCESS: Suppressed record is no longer shown in the list
6. Set OpacSuppressionByIPRange to match your IP (e.g. 127.)
7. Repeat step 5
=> SUCCESS: All records (including suppressed) are shown
8. Run:
$ ktd --shell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/Virtualshelves.t

GetNormalizedUPC duplicated logic already available via the
MetadataExtractor (Bug 34828) and exposed as $biblio->normalized_upc.
All callers migrated:
- Scripts with $biblio available: use $biblio->normalized_upc

already created for OCLC

Replaces all calls to GetNormalizedOCLCNumber() and
Koha::Util::MARC::oclc_number() with the extractor pattern.
OPAC scripts pass their already ViewPolicy-filtered $record directly
to the extractor. This preserves the existing filtering behavior
without introducing new abstraction layers:
Koha::Biblio::Metadata::Extractor->new( { metadata => $record } )->get_normalized_oclc
Intranet scripts and the Koha::Biblio convenience method use the
raw cached extractor (035 visibility is not affected by ViewPolicy
in practice, and intranet doesn't filter):
$biblio->normalized_oclc

1. Verify OCLC numbers display on OPAC detail, ISBD, MARC detail
2. Verify staff catalogue detail and search results

This patch removes Baker & Taylor integration following the shutdown of
the company.
To test, apply the patch, run the database update, and restart all.
- In the staff interface go to Administration -> System preferences and
search for 'Baker.' There should be no results.
- If necessary enable at least one cover image service, e.g.
AmazonCoverImages, OpacCoce, GoogleJackets, etc.
- Log in to the OPAC and confirm that cover images display correctly on
these pages:
- Search results
- Bibliographic detail page
- Shelf browser
- Your summary -> Checked out
- Checkout history

Local cover images are no longer displayed in OPAC lists since Bug 41078.
In Koha versions prior to 25.05.05, local cover images were correctly displayed in OPAC lists.
This appears to be a regression.
To reproduce
1. Set the system preferences LocalCoverImages and OPACLocalCoverImages to Show.
2. Find a bibliographic record and open the record detail page.
3. Upload a local cover image file for the record.
4. Create a public list and add the record to the list.
5. In the OPAC, open the public list.
--> The local cover image is missing.
6. Apply the patch.
7. Reload the OPAC list page.
--> The local cover image is now displayed correctly.

This patch adds sorting to lists of lists in the OPAC.
The mechanism used here for op=list is similar to the one
used in op=view, so it's stylistically and functionally
consistent with the rest of the Lists module in the OPAC.
Test plan:
0. Apply the patch and restart Plack (ie koha-plack --restart kohadev)
1. Create 20+ public lists and 20+ private lists for a particular user
you control (try to use names that range throughout the alphabet)
2. Using SQL, update the Modification date for at least 1 public
list and 1 private list
3. As an anonymous (ie not logged in user), go to
/cgi-bin/koha/opac-shelves.pl?op=list&public=0
4. Note you cannot see any lists
5. Go to http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/opac-shelves.pl?op=list&public=1
6, Note you can see public lists with a toolbar with the button "Sort"
below the alert "Log in to create a new list"
7. Using the "Sort" option, try out all the different sort options
for default, "List name", and "Modification date"
8. After sorting, try paging through the list of lists. You should
note that the sorting is retained through the paging.
9. prove t/db_dependent/Virtualshelves.t
10. Celebrate!

This patch tries to address errors in the way features are displayed in
result lists so that controls for holds, tags, lists, etc. are shown or
hidden according to system preferences.
The patch converts the Cart/Lists dropdown to separate buttons, making
the display logic simpler and making the interface more consistent with
updates to the staff interface search results.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS.
- In the OPAC, test these pages:
- Catalog search results
- List contents
- Test with various combinations of these system preferences:
- opacbookbag
- DisplayMultiPlaceHold
- virtualshelves
- OPACHoldRequests
- TagsEnabled
- TagsInputOnList
- UseRecalls
- ArticleRequests
With each different combination of settings the right controls should
appear in the toolbar at the top (if present), and with each search
result.

On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.
That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.
This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests
And a lot of other manual changes.
export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.
"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;
The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules
Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).
EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.
@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.
@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.
@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""
If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
- use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

which has multiple items on it.
- In the toolbar at the top of the list contents table the "Download"
button should now be a dropdown menu.
- Selecting any of the download options should trigger a download
prompt.
- Test with and without some CSV profiles which have been
configured for use in the OPAC

This patch makes use of the 'variables' parameter in XSLTParse4Display
method in the different places that it is used in the OPAC. It does by
passing this parameter with
anonymous_session => 1|0
The value will depend on the output from get_template_and_user (i.e. if
there's a returned borrowernumber).
A special case takes place in search results, as the call to
XSLTParse4Display happens in C4::Search::searchResults. So a new
parameter 'xslt_variables' is added to it.
To test:
1. Apply the [DO NOT PUSH] patch
2. Open the OPAC in your browser
3. Try detail pages, search results, tags and lists/shelves pages with
or without an active session
=> FAIL: It always says (somewhere) 'Anonymous session: Yes'
4. Apply this patch, restart_all
5. Repeat 3
=> SUCCESS: It will tell the Yes/No correctly regarding anonymous
sessions!
6. Sign off :-D

While this needs a username/pass to fully test, it should be possible to
verify the code changes by comparing to opac-results code
To test:
1 - Enable BakerTaylor images
2 - Enter your usernme and password
3 - Do not fill the BookStore URL
4 - Verify OPAC covers are working
5 - Save some times with covers to a public list
6 - Verify they do not display in list
7 - Apply patch
8 - Verify images now work

We are incinsistent here, Amazon and Syndetics module are always loaeded in some places
BakerTaylor is conditional everywhere, and causes issues under plack
For simplicity sake I think we should just load this (small) module where it might be needed
To test:
1 - Disable Baker and Taylor images
2 - Restart plack
3 - Visit opac-readingrecord, opac-detail, opac-search, opac-shelves, opac-user
Log in to opac
Virew your reading history
Make/view a list
Search the catalog
Look at an individual title
4 - Enable BakerTaylorEnabled
If you don't have Baker and Taylor credentials, simply fudge them with bad data and enable
5 - Repeat steps above, in the word of Joubu "Kaboom"
6 - Apply patch
7 - Repeat 1-4
8 - You shoudl be able to load all the pages after enabling the pref
