This patch adds a new notice, TRANSFER_OWNERSHIP, under a new module,
Lists. When a list is transferred to a new owner, this notice is
triggered, containing a short paragraph detailing the list name.
TO TEST:
a) log in as a koha superlibrarian
b) go to the lists module, create a public list, and make a note of the
title used
c) on the lists module, transfer the list to some other user, and make
a note of the user used
d) go to the patron notices page for the user in step c
e) ensure that a notice has been generated
1) check the contents of the notice, it should contain
- the new owner's name
- the list's title
- the old owner's name & (if set) email
f) under tools > notices, modify the notice for TRANSFER_OWNERSHIP
g) repeat steps c-e
1) ensure the modifications you've made are now visible in the notice

This patch adds two new system preferences, use public lists, and create public
lists. Use public lists determines if a librarian is permitted to see public
lists, whilst create public lists determines if a librarian can create new public
lists.
It also fixes erroneously allowing staff to add items to existing lists, by
honouring the existing edit_public_list_contents
To test:
a) notice the new my lists link on the account pulldown
1) ensure it goes to the lists module
b) create new public list, add at least one item, make it editable by everyone
1) note the name of the list
c) create a new patron with full access to the staff client minus lists permissions
d) log in as the newly created patron
e) notice the lists button is missing from the staff client mainpage
f) set any of the lists permissions except create public lists, use public lists, edit public list contents
g) notice how the lists button is no longer missing from the staff client mainpage
h) go to the lists module
1) notice that public lists are now missing from the datatable
i) click add list
1) notice that the public drop-down is now a fixed label set to private
j) create list and confirm it is not public
k) turn use public lists permission on
l) return to the lists module
1) notice that the datatable now shows private and public lists tabs
m) turn create public lists permission on
n) repeat steps h-i
1) notice that the public drop-down is now visible again
o) create list and confirm it is public
p) go to the list you created in step b
q) notice that add items button, and remove selected button, is missing
r) turn edit public list contents permission on
s) repeat steps p-q
1) notice that add items button is now visible
t) click add items
u) enter an item barcode or biblio number, click save
1) notice that the items are now added to the list

In some of our Koha:: objects we have methods that cache their result and return it in subsequent calls. However there is no invalidation of the cache if the object is modified.
For instance, in Koha/ArticleRequest.pm
sub biblio {
my ($self) = @_;
$self->{_biblio} ||= Koha::Biblios->find( $self->biblionumber() );
return $self->{_biblio};
}
This pattern exists in several places.
It can lead to confusion and incorrect results, such as:
use Koha::ArticleRequests;
my $ar = Koha::ArticleRequest->new({
borrowernumber => 42,
biblionumber => 42,
})->store;
say $ar->biblio->biblionumber; # Display 42, correct
$ar->set({ biblionumber => 24 })->store;
say $ar->biblio->biblionumber; # Display 42, wrong
$ar->discard_changes;
say $ar->biblio->biblionumber; # Display 42, wrong
$ar->delete;
We should remove those caching and rely on DBIC/DBMS caching mechanism instead.

This patch aims to tidy things a bit by doing the following changes:
* Koha::Virtualshelf gets the 'transfer_ownership' method
* Koha::Virtualshelves gets the 'disown_or_delete' method
* Koha::Patron->delete gets rewritten/simplified by using
disown_or_delete
The idea is to capture the current behavior in more fine grained
methods. So current tests should be passing as they do now.

If a staff member has access to the staff client (either because
'catalogue' permission is enabled or they're a superlibrarian
then that user can add items (from OPAC or staff client) to a list
marked 'Staff only'
Test plan:
1. In the staff client go to: Lists > 'New list'. Notice under 'Allow changes to contents
from' there are three options: Nobody, Owner only, Anyone seeing this
list
2. Apply first 3 patches and run updatedatabase.pl
cd installer/data/mysql
sudo koha-shell <instance>
./updatedatabase.pl
3. Restart memcached and plack
4. Create 4 patron accounts:
- User A : Superlibrarian permissions
- User B : 'Staff access, allows viewing of catalogue in staff interface
(catalogue)'
- User C : No permissions
- User D : 'Staff access, allows viewing of catalogue in staff
interface' and 'Lists' > Edit public lists (edit_public_lists)' sub-permission
5. Login to staff client as User A.
Create a public list and select the new 'Staff only' option under 'Allow changes to contents from'
6. Log into the staff client as User B.
Confirm you can add items to the list from the following staff client pages:
- Individual list page using the 'Add items' button
- Staff client search result page
- Staff client biblio detail page
7. Confirm you can remove items from the list
8. Confirm you can perform an OPAC search when not logged in

10. Log into the OPAC as User C. Do an OPAC search and confirm you
can view the list, but not add items to it
11. Login to the staff client as User B. Create a new list with the
following settings:
- 'Category'='Private',
- 'Allow changes to contents from'='Staff only'
Notice a red hint message is displayed.
Change 'Category'='Public' and notice the hint is removed
12. Log into the OPAC as User C. Notice the 'Staff only' option is not
available when creating a list
13. Log into the OPAC as User B. Repeat step 11. Confirm the same
outcome
14. Log into the staff client as User A. Create a list with the
following settings:
- Public = 'Public'
- Allow changes to contents from = 'owner only'
15. Log into the staff client as User D. Edit the list from step 14

On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.
That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.
This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests
And a lot of other manual changes.
export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.
"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;
The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules
Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).
EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.
@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.
@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.
@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""
If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
- use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

update virtualshelves set created_on = '2017-04-01 02:09:12' where shelfnumber = 1;
- Go to Home > Lists > Your lists
- Verify that the modified creation date for this list appears in staff client
- Edit list in staff client, save
- Verify that creation date is overwritten by modification date (wrong)

- Apply patch
- Repeat steps above, verify that creation date no longer is overwritten

Amended patch: Use existing indendation
The two new columns as mentioned in the commit message of the table
revision must be used in the codebase now.
Highlighting some changes in Koha::VirtualShel[f|ves]:
[1] Additional methods is_public and is_private.
[2] Method add_biblio did not check permissions. Does now. No impact on the
interface, but one call in the unit test was affected.
[3] Method remove_biblios is signficantly simplified. Removed a FIXME.
[4] Method can_biblios_be_removed now redirects to can_biblios_be_added.
A followup report may deal with unifying those routines.
[5] Condition in get_some_shelves changed.
[6] The reference to allow_add in get_shelves_containing_record can simply
be removed.
opac-shelves.pl and shelves.pl now pass the default setting of Owner only
to the template.
Templates shelves.tt and opac-shelves.tt now include the new permission
field with three choices as mentioned in the table revision patch.
opac-addbybiblionumber.pl and addbybiblionumber now need a check on
allow_change_from_owner; search conditions slightly adjusted to the new
permission scheme.
Test plan:
When we refer to visibility in the test plan, please check the Add to-combo
on opac search results and staff results. And check opac-addbybiblionumber
by clicking Save to Lists from opac results.
The step 'Check delete' means: open the list in opac and check if you see
the Delete button below the entries (only check, do not delete).
[ 1] Create private list I01 (perm=Owner)
[ 2] Check visibility: Seen.
[ 3] Add a book. (Change by owner should be allowed.)
[ 4] Check delete: Yes.
[ 5] Edit list I01, set perm=Nobody
[ 6] Check visibility: Not seen.
[ 7] Check delete: No.
[ 8] Share list I01 with another patron.
[ 9] Check visibility for the other patron: Not seen.
[10] Check delete for the other patron: No.
[11] Change permission of list I01 to Anyone (by owner).
[12] Check visibility for the other patron: Seen.
[13] Let other patron add a book (change is allowed).
[14] Let owner delete the same book again (change allowed).
[15] Create public list U01 (perm=Owner)
[16] Check visibility: Seen.
[17] Add a book. (Change by owner should be allowed.)
[18] Login as other user. Check visibility: Not seen. Check delete: No.
[19] Change permission of U01 to Nobody (by owner)
[20] As owner: Check visibility: Not seen. Check delete: No.
[21] As other user: Check visibility: Not seen. Check delete: No.
[22] Create public list U02 (perm=Anyone)
[23] Add a book by owner.

In a few case (at least systempreferences and export_format (csv profiles),
the type method of Koha::Object and Koha::Objects can be in conflict with the
column names.
Indeed systempreferences.type exists and so the method will return
'Systempreference' (the name of the module) instead of the value of the row in
DB.
I have found at least 1 place where it can cause issue:
In C4::Context->set_preference:
601 my $syspref = Koha::Config::SysPrefs->find( $var );
602 my $type = $syspref ? $syspref->type() : undef;
603
604 $value = 0 if ( $type && $type eq 'YesNo' && $value eq '' );
type will always be 'Systempreference' and the YesNo pref will be set to an
empty string '' instead of 0.
I am not sure about the consequences of this, but it is preferable to
fix it ASAP.
To reproduce:
0/ Do not apply this patch
1/ Edit a YesNo prefs, AutoEmailOpacUser for instance
2/ Set it to "Don't sent"
3/ Check the value in DB, it should be set to an empty string, instead
of 0
4/ Apply this patch and try again. Now the value should be 0

The 2 modules C4::VirtualShelves and C4::VirtualShelves::Page are really badly
coded and buggy.
It became complicated to fix and enhance them.
This rewrite will make the code more robust and the list feature will be easier
to change.
Some new modules are added to the Koha namespace (Koha::Virtualshelf,
Koha::Virtualshelves, Koha::Virtualshelfshare[s] and Koha::Virtualshelfcontent[s])
to take advantage of Dbix::Class.
The patchset fixes some bugs:
1/ Bug 6279 - Can't delete lists from the second page of lists in the OPAC
2/ The owner of a list should not need any permission to remove content from
his lists.
3/ No feedback messages when actions are done
Test plan:
A) Intranet and OPAC
1/ Create more than 20 private and public lists with different users
2/ Edit some and confirm that the changes are taken into account
3/ Share some lists with other users
4/ Add / remove contents
Be sure you have some lists with more than 20 items (to test the pagination)
5/ Play with permissions and confirm it works as expected.
For private lists:
They should not be viewed by anyone else, if they are not shared
If they are shared (OPAC only):
a. "Allow anyone else to add entries"
Should allow the user with whom the list is shared to add entries.
b. "Allow anyone to remove his own contributed entries."
Should allow the user with whom the list is shared to remove his own entries.
c. "Allow anyone to remove other contributed entries."
Should allow the user with whom the list is shared to remove any entries.
For public lists:
They should be viewed by anyone else.
a. "Allow anyone else to add entries"
Should allow any user to add entries.
b. "Allow anyone to remove his own contributed entries."
Should allow any user to remove his own entries.
c. "Allow anyone to remove other contributed entries."
Should allow any user to remove any entries.
6/ Download and sent lists.
7/ Confirm that the "Add to" feature works as expected.
