Correct genuine spelling errors identified by the codespell 2.4.x
full scan after the KTD container OS upgrade. Changes are in
comments, POD, strings, and template text across 55 files.
"SAN Ouest Provence" (the French library co-operative and Koha
sponsor) is preserved as a proper noun. Perl copyright lines
receive an inline # codespell:ignore annotation; about.tt files
(contributor attribution pages) are added to the Koha::Devel::Files
codespell exception list so that future uses of "Provence" as a
typo for "Province" are still caught in all other files.
Notable user-visible fixes:
- "submiting" -> "submitting" in authority and bibliographic merge screens
- "deleteable" -> "deletable" in patron exception messages
- "Acquistions" -> "Acquisitions" in reports dictionary
Test plan:
1. Apply patches
2. In the staff interface, go to Cataloguing > Merge records and
confirm the submit button reads "Submitting" (not "Submiting")
3. In the staff interface, go to Authorities > Merge and confirm
the same correction
4. Attempt to delete a patron with outstanding issues and confirm
the error message reads "deletable" (not "deleteable")
5. prove xt/author/codespell.t

Previously this could have caused issues if enable_plugins was disabled
in koha-conf as we were not checking enabled status before instantiating
an instance of the plugins object.

This patch adds hooks to allow 'Valuebuilder' plugins to be installable
using the standard plugin architecture for Koha. This enables cataloguing
plugins to be dynamically installed, enabled, and disabled through the
plugin system rather than being hardcoded framework components.
Test plan:
1. Install the example valuebuilder plugin from GitHub
(https://github.com/Jacobomara901/koha-plugin-value-builder)
2. Go to Administration > Plugins
3. Verify the valuebuilder plugin appears in the plugins list
4. Enable/disable the plugin and confirm the custom valuebuilder
appears/disappears in the framework configuration
5. Assign the custom valuebuilder to a MARC subfield in the
bibliographic framework
6. Create/edit a bibliographic record and verify the valuebuilder
button appears next to the configured subfield
7. Click the valuebuilder button and confirm it functions correctly
8. Disable the plugin and verify the valuebuilder button disappears
9. Re-enable the plugin and confirm functionality is restored
10. Uninstall the plugin and verify it's completely removed

This is to avoid using private jQuery method _data.
Here's what jQuery 1.8.0 release notes says about it:
"this is not a supported public interface; the actual data structures
may change incompatibly from version to version."
So we should not rely on it.
What this patch does is use event delegation [1].
Events are bound to a parent container, so when elements are added
dynamically inside that container, we don't need to re-attach event
handlers manually
This patch also comes with a bit of cleanup, and introduce "breaking
changes" (they are breaking changes only if you happen to have custom
framework plugins):
1) 'mouseover', 'mousemove', 'keypress' events are no longer listened to
'mouseover' and 'mousemove' are not used and would trigger too much
events.
'keypress' is also not used, and is deprecated
2) Event handlers now takes a single parameter that is an Event object
It just makes the code a lot less complicated.
3) Event handlers do not pollute the global scope anymore

Test plan:
- Go to every page that has a MARC editor and verify that plugins still
work. This includes addbiblio.pl, additem.pl, authorities.pl,
neworderempty.pl, orderreceive.pl
- Test plugins that use 'focus' event (for instance barcode.pl), 'blur'
event (callnumber.pl) and 'click' event (almost all the others)
- Test that plugins work on cloned fields/subfields

This patch validates the plugin_name passed to plugin_launcher.pl
against the base path containing the "value_builder" directory.
Test plan:
0. Apply the patch
1. koha-plack --reload kohadev
2. Go to http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/addbiblio.pl?biblionumber=29
3. Check that the tag editor for leader still works
4. Go to http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/additem.pl?biblionumber=29
5. Check that the pluginf or "Date acquired" still works

We should not just look at Click.
Test plan:
[1] Apply the example patch for a Blur action in barcode.pl.
[2] Check that barcode.pl is active in your framework and that
autoBarcode is not disabled.
[3] Open the browser dev console.
[4] Tab a few times through barcode in the neworderempty form of
Acquisition. If you leave the field, the Blur event fires.
=> Without this patch you will see two console lines (FF may
show a little '2' icon at the right side) added. With this
patch just one.

test plan:
a) build a new basket + order line using "item create on placing an order"
b) in the item creation dialog (neworderempty.pl) please use the webbrowsers dev tools to analyze the [...] button next to subfield d (Date acquired) and inspect the events that get fired by clicking
c) notice the Clicktag_952_subfield_d_* event gets fired twice.
d) apply patch and reload page
e) there should be only 1 click handler left (besides the jquery one), which points to the Clicktag_952_subfield_* function

There is a "tabloop" variable that is passed from the add item form logic to the cataloguing plugins.
But there is confusion, sometimes it's an iterator ($i) and sometimes (batchMod.pl) an array.
Actually this tabloop variable is never used from cataloguing plugins, we should remove it.
Test plan:
Read the code and confirm the above.
You can also test a couple of plugins and confirm that they are still
working.

Happily this was only used for intranetdir.
It's time to remove it and replace existing calls.
I used the following commands to catch calls to C4::Context:
git grep 'C4::Context\->' | grep -v 'C4::Context->preference' | grep -v
'C4::Context->config' | grep -v 'C4::Context->userenv' | grep -v
'C4::Context->IsSuperLibrarian' | grep -v 'C4::Context->dbh' | grep -v
'C4::Context->set_preference' | grep -v '_syspref_cache' | grep -v
_userenv | grep -v 'C4::Context->interface' | grep -v
'C4::Context->Zconn' | grep -v 'C4::Context->queryparser' | grep -v
'C4::Context->tz' | grep -v 'C4::Context->boolean_preference' | grep -v
'C4::Context->memcached'
NOTE: I applied 14428, and then did what I suggested in comment #2.
Only intranetdir references appeared.
I applied this patch, and repeated.
Nothing appeared. This means the autoload references are
properly removed.
koha qa test tools complained about whitespace, I just fixed
those. Though, we may wish to perltidy
auth_fields_substructure.pl on another bug.

This patch introduces the Koha::FrameworkPlugin object to Koha.
This object supports the current "old-style" plugins while adding a new
style based on the concept of two anynomous subroutines for building and
launching.
I will summarize the advantages of this new approach, justifying the
additional lines of code in this patch:
[1] Centralizing the code for building and launching plugins.
[2] Extensive unit testing: this was not possible before.
[3] Simplicity: Only define what you need in the plugin.
A follow-up patch will delete 1500 lines with *empty* routines.
[4] Make it possible to restore the warnings pragma for all plugins.
New style plugins do no longer depend on redefinition.
[5] Event binding moved from HTML attributes moved to jQuery code.
This separates behavior and presentation.
[6] Much more documentation, including EXAMPLE plugin in follow-up.
[7] Improved error handling.
[8] Usability: property noclick tells you if plugin's buttonDot is active.
[9] More events supported: Change, keyboard/mouse events. See EXAMPLE.
NOTE ON EXAMPLE PLUGIN:
The example plugin is added in the third patch of this report. Since
it is new style, it can be used only after we start using this object. It
also contains an example for a keypress and mouseover event.
NOTE ON ITEM PLUGINS:
Old style plugins for items contain an additional parameter in the js
functions for Blur, Focus and Change. This distinction has no actual use
and is resolved for new plugins in the object code. When converting
item plugins, this minor correction will be addressed. In the meantime
old style item plugins behave as expected.
TEST PLAN:
Run the new test t/db_dependent/FrameworkPlugin.t
At this point in time, you do not need to do anything more. Follow-up
patches will incorporate the object in real-life Koha and provide
additional test plans.
